The Bitter End is a small but perfectly formed lofted apartment on the Wild Atlantic Way in rural bliss near Ballydehob. Attached to our 1850's farmhouse but totally private, it sleeps 2 upstairs, double or split twins, and 1 downstairs if needed. Great outside space too. Fully equipped mini kitchen, sky TV, WiFi. The stairs is an alternate tread space saving unit, so you need to be sure-footed. Plenty of parking. Great walks straight out the gate. Close to the sea.
Laundry Cottage is a peaceful hide away, for two, on the edge of the Ilen Estuary. With access to the water there is the option to sail, kayak, swim or just sit and observe sea birds, seals and otters. Walking and taking the ferries to the islands are also popular activities here. The cottage is 15mins from Skibbereen and Ballydehob and a perfect base for exploring beautiful West Cork. This is self catering accommodation so best to pick up your breakfast/dinner this on route.
My house is 2 kms away from the village of Ballydehob and close to other neighbouring villages and as well as lovely beaches and to the Mizen peninsula. It is part of the Wild Atlantic Way which can be explored from here. The village has cafes and many nice restaurants and pubs. Ballydehob is rocking in the summer with festivals including jazz, traditional music,a maritime and country and western festival. These attract many visitors to the area.
