Our modern 1 bdrm cottage is deep in the countryside. No cafes, shops, street lights, light pollution and very few neighbours. Just birds, peace, bush and space. All amenites are a 10 minute drive away in Hokitika. With a king bed & a king single in one spacious bedroom, there is a separate lounge/diner/kitchen. An attached carport contains the washer/drier. Please do not book, if you want a town location. The cottage is all about its remoteness and nature. (Not suitable for children sorry ).

Lake Kaniere is one of the most beautiful lakes in New Zealand and offers opportunity for a number of water sports. There are also several picnic places, a camping area, and numerous short walks. Twins at the Lake units are a short stroll away from the lake and the main walkway and cycling tracks. Kaniere is host to the powerboat races each year and is located only 18 km inland from Hokitika. Kowhai bach offers plenty of room to park a boat and lock up storage for any cycles etc
