Munich's famous beer garden culture will be detailed and lots of other beery places for you to explore on your own at a later point will be highlighted. Then to the beatifully, newly refurbished Beer and Oktoberfest Museum Stubl for a beer tasting. Followed by a private tour through the museum itself. Via special access to the museum, which is closed at that time to the general public, the origins and developments of the Oktoberfest, refrigeration and beer marketing, amongst a number of topics to be covered. We will stand, where the celebrations of the breakout of World War I - the "great seminal catastrophe" of the 20th century - took place and where Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch ended in gunfire. We will learn, why the Nazis called Munich "the capital of the movement" and why the era between 1914-1945 is rightly considered the 2nd Thirty Years War. We will talk about Napoleon and his huge impact on German identity and unification and learn, how these disastrous wars of the past defined our new today and times of peace. This will be a high level lecture from a real expert and I promise you that these two hours will still leave you confused at the end - but on a much higher level. Because I always want to encourage dialogue and the exchange of views, knowledge and philosophical thoughts about history and mankind, our groups are always small and non-touristy. Kommt mit und ich zeige euch die wundervolle bayrische Natur im Rahmen einer tollen Wanderung in den Bergen. Sport und Entspannung gleichermaßen bietet unser Wanderausflug, der mit einer ca. 1-stündigen Zugfahrt vom Münchner Hauptbahnhof in das Umland startet. Welche Tour wir gehen ist je nach Termin individuell und hängt u.a. von der Teilnehmerzahl, eurer Kondition und dem Wetter ab. Im Regelfall starten wir die Bergwanderung entweder am Schliersee oder am Tegernsee und werden mindestens 300 bis maximal 800 Höhenmeter zurücklegen (meist ca. 2-3 Std. Anstieg, danach Abstieg). Daher ist die Dauer des Events eine grobe Einschätzung und kann entsprechend länger oder kürzer ausfallen. Gerne könnt ihr mich mit Fragen vorab kontaktieren. Im Fokus der Wanderung steht ein gemeinsamer schöner und entspannter Tag mit viel Spaß, "ein wenig" Anstrengung und Aktivität, Natur, aber auch - sofern möglich - bayrischer Gemütlichkeit bei einem Einkehrschwung (Getränke und Speisen nicht im Preis enthalten). Wir fliegen gemeinsam über das Oberallgäu und schauen uns alle Berge und Sehenswürdigkeiten aus der Luft an. Wir treffen uns am Flugplatz Kempten wo bereits das zweisitzige Sportflugzeug auf uns wartet. Nach einer kurzen Einführung und der Klärung aller offenen Fragen heißt es dann bereits: Ready for Takeoff! Unsere Flugroute verläuft südlich in Richtung Oberstdorf, dort fliegen wir am Nebelhorn vorbei und schauen uns die Skiflugschanze von oben an. Bei einem Abstecher über das Kleinwalsertal erblicken wir die Gipfel vom Ifen und dem Diedamskopf und weiter vielleicht sogar den Bodensee. Nach einer Flugzeit von ca. 35-45 Minuten erreichen wir wieder sicher den Flugplatz Kempten-Durach. Auf Anfrage können wir den Flug auch ausdehnen und z.B. die Königsschlösser in Schwangau/Füssen besichtigen oder über die Zugspitze fliegen. Das Flugzeug bietet nur zwei Sitzplätze, daher können Gruppen nicht zeitgleich aber nacheinander geflogen werden. Aufgrund der Abhängigkeit vom Wetter sind alle Termine unter Vorbehalt. Sollte ein Flug ausfallen, werden wir diesen natürlich nachholen :)

Munich is an old city and full of history to tell. Going through historic buildings and places is key, but they also carry the gastronomic history of the city. Thus, we will know the central square of the city, the open air market, an amazing patissèrie and the main breweries of the city. At each point I will explain its history, the importance if its existence and which symbols products of that place. This is a walking tour where the focus is gastronomy. At the end of the course you can choose one or more places to have your typical meal, knowing exactly what to order and which beer to take. Other things to note The tour should last about two hours and all routes will be made on foot, so comfortable shoes and clothes are indicated as well as water. IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not stop in restaurants or breweries. The idea is to guide you across the city and help you to make your meal choice. The food after is by the guest and is not included in the price.

Begleite Wolfram den Nachtwächter durch das mittelalterliche München im Rahmen einer 1,5 Stunden zu Fuß Tour. Du triffst Wolfram den Nachtwächter im mittelalterlichen Gewand, mit Laterne, Hellebarde und Rufhorn. Wolfram erklärt zu Beginn die Aufgaben des Nachtwächters im Mittelalter. Die Nachtwächter Stadtführung geht entlang der ersten Stadtmauer rund um München von Heinrich dem Löwen im 12. Jahrhundert. Spannende Themen auf der Tour sind die Pest und woran die Menschen glaubten sich an der Pest anzustecken. Werde Zeuge der Hinrichtung von Marco Bragadino und warum Friedhöfe rund um Kirchen sind. Nur kurz außerhalb der Stadtmauer an der Metzgerzeile lernen wir was Zünfte im Mittelalter waren und wie Bäcker die falsch gebacken haben mit der Bäckerschnelle bestraft wurden. Auf der weiteren Tour werden wir gemeinsam zwei alte Stadttore abschließen, das städtische Gefängnis und die erste Burg in München besuchen. Original Silberpfennige aus dem Mittelalter zeigen wie man früher bezahlt hat, Schulden machte man mit dem Kerbholz. Die größte Kirche in München (Frauenkirche) erbaut in nur zwanzig Jahren mit dem Teufelstritt ist die nächste Station. Abschluss der Tour ist der Schöne Turm in der Kaufingerstraße.
