For first time or beginners I will explain you first about basic knowledge of surfing properly on the beach: how to paddle, over the waves, stand up. After practicing on the beach, we jump into the water. I will set your daily lesson depending on the conditions, swell forecast and tide chart, we need nature you work with us, so nature will decide for us which time of day is best for our surf session. Our tour will begin on the farm with a welcome drink. While relaxing in a shaded part of the farm, I will present our community movement and teach you about how we grow our organic produce. After enjoying the welcome drink, we will walk along the community farm and learn about organic farming and the unique UNESCO- protected Subak System in Bali. During the farm tour, we will pick the ingredients that we are going to use during the cooking class for a true farm to table cooking experience. Once we arrive at the centre of the community, Mai Organic farm, we will drink a refreshing juice made with vegetables and fruit from our local farms. Following the drink, we will prepare six Balinese dishes, such as tuna sate and corn fritters. Students are able to participate as much or as little as they would like. After meeting at 6am, we will drive to Mengening, a water temple who’s name means “stillness”. There we will undertake a powerful cleansing ritual where you let go of everything which no longer serves you, and take in that which moves you forward. And for all the ladies, if you are in your period you are not allowed to do the ceremony in the temple due to Balinese Cultural Law and this is a STRICT RULES!!! We will then drive back to Ubud for a delicious breakfast before meeting a local Shaman. This Shaman normally only sees Balinese people as she doesn’t speak English but I will be able to translate for you. She will read your palm, look at your birth date and tap into the energy of your soul to give you guidance and advice on how to move forward with your life.
