Old Quebec Winter Walking Tour
My Winter Walking Tour of Old Quebec is an introduction to local history, architecture and culture. You'll learn about New France, the Conquest, the American revolution, the evolution of the city, the French-Canadians & Anglo-Canadians, the Quiet Revolution but also about the ice bridge and the Winter Carnaval for example. You’ll discover Old Port, Petit Champlain (with Place royale & Batterie royale), the Château Frontenac, the City Hall, the Seminary, the Morrin Centre, the St John Gate and more. Itinerary is designed for Winter: less windy spots and some secrets to keep you warm. Finally, you'll discover a quaint city where every street corner is a postcard. Yes, you can enjoy a 2h walking tour in Old Quebec, from November to March, without losing a frozen toe, without frost bite. NB : The experience is provided either in French or in English, never simultaneously in both languages. When booking, check the right language. In case of unavailability, write to me! Old Quebec Upper Town walking tour
Discover the history of Quebec City and Canada as you walk with us in Old Quebec Upper Town, a UNESCO world heritage site. We will go in busy streets, off the beaten track and we will travel in time as far as the 1600s. We'll tackle major themes such as colonization, wars between empires or the Quiet Revolution and Quebec separatism. We will talk about architecture too, and food naturally. Of course you can count on us to tell you a few anecdotes that make this experience so interesting. You'll see the highlights of the Upper Town, such as the Château Frontenac, the cathedrals, the city hall, the Price building, the Parlement and at least one fancy gate. You'll see countless of old & beautiful residential buildings and many fascinating monuments. Thanks to this introductory guided tour, you will have a better understanding of modern Quebec society, you will know how to orient yourself in Old Quebec and you will better appreciate this magnificent city of Quebec. We'll start in front of the statue dedicated to pioneers and we'll end in front of the Parlement. Check weather forecast and dress appropriately. We provide the tour rain or shine. Ile d'Orleans is a cyclist's paradise: Spectacular landscapes, a rich history and delicious local products are waiting to be discovered all along the way. On electric bikes, the guide will show you the island's most beautiful village, visit a fruit farm, a winery, the local chocolate factory and more! We'll meet at Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the bridge. Upon arrival, you'll get a detailed safety introduction, before following the guide on this easy bike tour of 20 km / 12.5 mi. We'll visit the Foyer de la Charité and taste the famous Strawberries of Ile d'Orleans. I'll share fascinating details about history and local agriculture, a very important aspect of the island's economy. As we reach the pictoresque village of Ste-Pétronille, we'll take a quick break from cycling at the Chocolaterie de l'Ile. Stroll on the St.Lawrence River's shores and enjoy the amazing view on Quebec City's skyline. We'll continue the tour and stop at a nice boutique and coffee shop. We'll stop at one of the island's most classy wineries. Overlooking the Montmorency Falls, we'll taste their selection of local wines. We will finish at Cassis Monna & Filles. The tour will take 3 hours. The island features no bike path; we'll use the road's secure shoulder. We are often asked how to get to the meeting point without a car. Simply take a cab / Uber; we are 15 min driving from the Old Quebec.

Bienvenue à mon atelier de cosmétiques naturels, je vous accueillerai avec plaisir chez moi à Québec ! Nous commencerons à apprendre comment utiliser les actifs végétaux et quelles sont leurs différentes propriétés et quelles sont leur application. Après cela nous choisirons deux recettes à réaliser (baume pour les lèvres, barre de massages, soin pour les cheveux ayurvédique, baume pour le corps, déodorant...) nous sélectionnerons nos ingrédients pour confectionner les différents soins et je vous expliquerai les conseils d'application de ses soins et comment les conserver pour garder toutes leur propriétés ! Vous repartirez avec plusieurs recettes à la maison, et l'atelier se concluera par une petite pause gourmande bien méritée avec des gâteaux fait maison et des boissons chaudes ! Old Quebec Women History Tour
We start on the side of the Parlement of Quebec and end the historical guided tour nearby the famous Château Frontenac. On the way, you'll learn more about the women who made Quebec City (and Lévis), their reality, their struggles and their legacy. We'll also talk about the evolution of women's rights in Quebec Province. Keep in mind this is not an activist tour, it has been created with the help of a professional historian. It is definitely a unique and original way to discover Old Quebec! Other things to note The tour runs rain or shine. This tour isn't private, but the group will be small (less than 15 people). Yes you can interact with me, ask questions, share your opinion during the tour.
Visit the unique Saint Anne Shrine / Groups are Welcome
We will visit one of the most famous shrines on the continent - Saint Anne Basilica. This place is known since the XVII century for a great number of miraculous healings. The Basilica is a unique construction. Every element outside and inside it, is speaking to us: the mosaics on the floors and the ceilings, the capitols of the columns, numerous statues, stain glasses, pew carvings etc You will be nicely surprised to discover some unique details. This visit will be something like a short pilgrimage. The tour could be done in English, French or Russian languages. Please, precise which language you prefer. Minimum size of the group - 2 people, maximum size - 6 people. If there is only one person on the day of the tour, he or she will pay the difference for the second person to cover all the expenses. If you are more than two, please, see the group price. Other things to note If you would like to visit also Saint Anne Canyon (May to October), which is not far from the Basilica, and see the breathtaking views of the Falls (74 m) and the 1.2 billion years old Canyon, please let me know. On scooters, you'll ride to the island's most beautiful village, visiting farms, wineries, shops, the local chocolate factory, and more! Be curious along the way and take beautiful pictures! We'll meet at my motel on Ile d'Orleans, close to the bridge. Upon arrival, you'll get a detailed safety introduction. We'll propose an itinerary and show you how to use the scooter in the parking lot. Please take note : Participation in this tour is recommended only for those with scooter or motorcycle driving experience. The rental is 4 hours. You visit the island on your own. Our scooters automatic. **You need to have prior driving experience on scooters / motorcycles** Valid driver's license obligatory. Can bring a passenger of 8 years or more ($). There is no bike path; you will use the road's safe sidewalk. On your own, be curious and visit the famous Strawberries of Ile d'Orleans, village of Ste-Pétronille, Chocolaterie de l'Ile. Stroll on the St-Lawrence River's shores and enjoy the amazing view on Quebec City's skyline. Stop at some classy wineries and enjoy the view of the Montmorency's Fall. The rental is 4 hours. This is not the "Guided tour experience". This is a rental experience and you visit the Island on your own. The electric assistance is very powerful; you never had so much fun cycling up a hill!
