Cardano offers a taste of authentic village life with lovely mountain views, cobbled streets and stone houses. It is only 7 mins drive into the lakeside town of Menaggio - part of the ‘central lake’ area which offers excellent access to ferries for Varenna, Bellagio and Como. We are on the cycle path between Menaggio and Lake Lugano and surrounded by hiking trails and lakes to swim in. Casa Cardano is newly renovated in an old building so it is possible to hear the neighbours at times.

The Ivy House in the Castle

A charming independent studio annex to the host 400 years old house (renovated in 2020) with a balcony, a bedroom and a small bathroom + kitchen/dining room. Double bed can be split in 2 singles with 24 hrs. notice (min 2 nights). Dishwasher, Wi-fi, and a washing machine. Garden has BBQ. In the garden we have cats, they never enter the apartement, but we can not accept dogs. There is a private parking or ideal with public transport. Strictly no-smoking, not even in balcony or garden
