Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction and the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, wooden sauna and plunge pool. 10 mins from Glen Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Twin room in delightful Scottish Edwardian Cottage

A large twin room on the first floor (one of two rooms available) with hand basin in room and a private bathroom. On the edge of the village of Barrhill, midway between Newton Stewart and the seaside town of Girvan with fish and chips and a scenic promenade. Our cat William shares the house with us, he is not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. We also have two Icelandic ponies, Noah and Molly, hens that provide eggs for breakfast. not suitable for children under 12
