The starting point of the sea kayaking activity, Kathara Beach is located 20 minutes away from Rhodes Town. After a safety briefing on Sea Kayaking, we will start exploring the beautiful east coast of the island. We will explore Anthony Quinn's Bay, Ladiko Bay, the cave of the seal and finally Traganou Bay. There, i will have prepared for you a yummy healthy Greek traditional picnic, including "Dakos", dolmadakia, tzatziki, fresh vegetables and much more. After having refuelled our energy, we will start paddling back to the starting location. You will be welcomed in our olive farm with a welcoming drink. We will visit our olive grove and explain about the 150 different trees. We will also see some herbs and explain about it, and see our donkeys. During the tour, you will get information about the various trees and olives, the history of the harvest of olives in Greece, and the making of olive oil. Then we will prepare together some delicacies made of olives that we will eat. We will also do another recipe that needs olive oil, and from mid September to end of November, we will prepare some olives to be eaten. The recipes will be sent to you so that you can cook back at home. At the end, you leave with some souvenirs. Other things to note Come with casual clothes. We are a farm, with dogs, cats, donkeys, a horse, chickens, ducks, bees, butterflies..... Olives trees, many different fruits trees, herbs.

Reception at STOA Bar Restaurant. Our guests take a seat at the tables, where a variety of organic, extra virgin olive oils as well as two different honeys, flower honey and pine honey are served. There will also be a presentation about the procedure of harvesting , production and tasting of the extra virgin olive oil and, of course, our guests will have the chance to taste each one accompanied by crackers, bread sticks and cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and greek traditional cold cut , not to mention "raki", the local traditional drink. Join our cruise for sailing trip inside the Caldera of Santorini. The departure time may change depending on the hour that the sun sets. Departure from Vlihada port at around 3:00 pm Sailing through Red Beach where we make a stop for swimming and snorkeling. We then move towards the volcano, sailing along the White Beach, the Indian Rock spot and the ancient Light House (Akrotiri). We swim at the Volcano’s famous waters and we explore the volcanic beaches and areas (Palia and Nea Kameni) which will amaze you because of their spectacular natural colors. We will begin with an introduction to organic olive farming , focusing on cultivation methods which result in healthy trees and top quality olive oil. You will learn to identify some of the varieties of olive tree, and will acquire basic (or more advanced if you are interested) knowledge of growing olives. We will give you a briefing on the exciting, ongoing research on the health giving properties of excellent olive oil and you will learn about the role of oleocanthal in promoting good health. We will show you round the farm and then if you wish you can participate in watering, pruning, repairing stone terraces, mending olive nets or picking olives (the harvest is from October onwards). Finally you will enjoy a well deserved tasting session, with our own delicious olive oil and different accompaniments. You will be given a bottle of olive oil to take home with you.
