Forge a silver ring with Jewelers
Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE!
Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy!

Kayaking is the only way to interact with these friendly wild creatures. They often swim up to us to play. It's a secret and very special experience in Dublin! We will also take a stroll on the island to enjoy the incredible views. It's my favorite place in the world!
Other things to note
You need to bring spare footwear to wear in the water.
Must be able to swim.

Drink & Draw Paint Night
Paint a canvas, listen to music and get creative with alcohol.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no alcohol included this event - there is a bar where you can buy drinks.
This isn't an 'art classes' but rather an art party, it's more about relaxation than perfection. Expect loud music, weird prizes and something different.
No art experience is needed and I will help you create your own masterpiece you can take home. I have hosted over 1000 people for my canvas painting events across Ireland.
Included: Canvas you can keep, easel, paint, brushes, and all other materials needed. We use water based paint for this class.
Other things to note
This is not a class but an art party, we play music and games during this experience.
We have over 100 five star reviews and been doing this since 2019.
There is no wheelchair access in this venue, unfortunately.
Seize the clay and enjoy being creative with a potter
Seize the clay!
After a warm welcome with refreshments we will take to our work bench. First we’ll see what type of clay work you would like to create and then we’ll begin. Don’t know what to create? Then we can take a look at the many pieces in the workshop and you can create your own version.
You can create your own tea light house, paper weight or move towards making a bowl or jar.
The time you spend with the clay will be productive and you will leave with at least one piece fully formed. Some
People do a number of small pieces. All of which can dry in the studio for another day to collect or we will box up your art for you to dry at home.
You will leave happy and pleased with how well you have done and will want to do more.
Sea Kayaking trip to Dalkey Island
We kayak along the coastline from Killiney beach towards the Sorrento Terrace. From there we cross Dalkey Sound, a strip of water between Dalkey and the Island. We usually see plenty of cormerants, sea gulls and other sea birds on the island, but probably the most famous wild life we will see is a herd of wild goats that have lived on the island for over 100 years. These along with plenty of rabbits and hopefully some seals offer opportunities for some unusual photos. Dalkey Island has an incredibly chequered history for a place that is so small. The church on the island is dedicated to Saint Begnet, it dates back to the eleventh century. The fireplace in it is from the time of the fort on the island and Martello tower. The original windows in the church are arranged in a very strange way and it’s thought that it relates to the keeping of a solar calendar. Behind the church is a curious stone, marked with a cross. It’s thought that this stone may have been a very ancient pagan stone that has been ‘Christianized’. It has evidence of having a carved circle on it but sadly it is now weathered so much that it is difficult to make out the shapes on it.
Other things to note
- Swim wear (to put on under the wetsuit)
- Sports wear and trainers
- Towel
- Change of clothes
Eco-Print Irish Linen with Foraged Leaves from Killiney Hill
Join me for a wholesome afternoon foraging in nature with spectacular sea views ending with a fun eco printing session in a local pub. Create your own print from Irish leaves on authentic Irish linen and bring it home as a decorative piece of art or wear as a trendy scarf!
Our journey begins at the base of Killiney Hill, a beloved public park nestled beside the quaint seaside village of Dalkey. Only half an hour from the city, these woodlands are well worth a visit and you will earn great insight from me as a deep-rooted local!
I will guide you through the woods as we gather leaves, such as oak and blackberry, to be used in our printing session. After a leisurely hike to the Obelisk at the top of the hill, take in dazzling views of Dublin Bay and its mountains...I might even point out a few tree tops from the backyard of a certain U2 frontman’s humble abode!
Your foraging trip will end back at the base of the hill in the cosy and picturesque Druid's Chair Pub, where I will guide you in the centuries old technique of eco printing. You will create a one-of-a-kind design that is not only beautiful but also friendly to the environment. Each piece is a reflection of the natural world and the colours and patterns found in it, making them truly special and meaningful. A superb way to create a lasting reminder of your trip to Ireland and a great day at the edge of the Irish sea.
Create a Personalized Charm in silver
Make your own sterling silver charm in different shapes including, circular, diamond, square, heart, star, flower, pear, rectangle and even shamrock!
Learn the basics of metal smithing, guided by our expert and fun teachers! To make your charm, you will first stamp out the shape you like, then you will file it, apply emery paper, add textures and an initial if you like. The teacher will drill a hole for you and you can add the bail. Finally you decide if you want to make it a sparkley or matt finish!
That's it your charm has been handmade by you! Add it to your necklace or bracelet, or if you need to you can purchase a chain in store at a discounted rate especially for class goers!
Charm makers over time have become more and more creative -you can even make more than 1 charm out of your square of silver so you can have a layer of charms to add to your necklace. It really is a great way to be creative, learn a new skill and come away with a stunning, hand made piece of jewellery that you can keep as a wonderful memento of your time in Dublin.
We have been running our "Forge a silver ring with jewellers " experience for over 4 years, having earned almost 3000 5 star reviews and being awarded " Most reviewed experience in Ireland in 2020 " So you can trust your experience is in good hands!

Discover some stories from the past and a different side to Dublin
We have a long tradition of storytelling in Ireland and our oldest stories are of the banshees, the ghosts and the things that keep you up at night.
These stories were traditionally told around a fire but we will be heading to the spaces where these things happened, hearing the stories and seeing for ourselves.
Embrace the supernatural and come on a ghostly adventure with us.
Some of what we cover:
-Maud Gonne's shocking ghostly secrets
-The unexplained terrors that have been seen in the Shelbourne hotel
-The grisly hangings near St Stephens Green
-The gruesome tales of the Tenements
-The 'Resurrection Men'
-Charlie Parker and the haunting of the Olympia Theatre
-The Zombie experimenter of Anglesea Street
-Darkey Kelly and her basement of bodies
-The Dolocher, The Demon pig of Dublin
& So much more!
