You're gonna try a bunch of foods and learn about them from a local insider's view. The tour will be in beşiktaş which is the area that is less explored by visitors, but a hub of local activity with some of the best food in the city

Thanks a lot for the great experience and it was much better that we expected. Burak was very friendly and we felt extremely comfortable. Burak was a very gracious, polite and kind host. I would recommend his food tour in Turkey, it is the only experience that could give you the perspectives from a local foodie and can work during covid times.

We had a fantastic time with Burak. He has a deep interest in Istanbul, operating many different types of tours/experiences, and was able to relay advice and information/recommendations beyond local food. He knows all the vendors, knows how to customize the experience based on your requirements and how to keep you entertained. He was helpful, friendly and completely engaged up until he saw us off in our taxi. We had a great laugh, and will be appearing on his YouTube channel sometime in the future :D (with our permission, of course). The food is amazing! We were completely naive to the diversity of food in Istanbul (it's not all meat and salad folks) and we enjoyed every stop on the tour. You will be full by the end, don't worry! If you are limited in time with your Istanbul trip, this is most definitely the best way to see some of the city, particularly trendy Beşiktaş, and try the local food. We met Burak for our food tour and were quickly comforted by his warm and friendly personality. He was interested to share his knowledge and we had lots of laughs through all sharing our stories and experiences. Burak is a real foodie which makes this tour awesome, he knows places to know that we never would have tried without him. I now feel like we really got to experience and learn about Turkish food. The tour was great and the food was SO TASTY!! Everything we tried was delicious. I asked Burak about one meal I was curious about and he tailored our tour so we got to try this - I really appreciated his flexibility. We also got to finish with some desserts which wasn’t in the original plan but really added to the experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, we had a great time and felt both comfortable and welcome.
