Temari sushi is a cute, mini-size sushi with a round shape and vibrant coloring. Originally from Kyoto, it was one of the most preferred meals of Maikos and Geishas. The small handmade sushi a perfect dish for a seasonal celebration or party, such as Hina Matsuri, cherry blossom, and more. During this experience, you will receive an introduction to Japanese cuisine and Temari Sushi. We'll set the table, and then I will teach you how to prepare Temari sushi using our fresh seafoods and vegetables and the rest of the menu, which will include our Sushi, Egg Roll and typical Osumashi soup.
After we've prepared everything, we'll eat and you'll enjoy the sushi you've made with your own hands. When we're finished with lunch, we'll visit a Japanese food market for a quick buying experience.

Hi, I am Michiko and I’m a Japanese Chef. I recently moved to Hong Kong where I will continue developing my passion for food and teaching how to prepare real Japanese dishes in an easy, fun and enjoyable way at home.

I always had a natural passion for food but I also love teaching as it gives me the opportunity to meet people, understand different cultures and exchange experiences.

While in Japan I used to be a qualified chef at Tokyo ABC Cooking School and I am developing my skills in Vegan and Row cuisine at an Organic Food Studio in Hong Kong. and now I'm moving back to my beautiful home town Kanazawa and sharing all of my passion and experience with you!

We'll meet at Ozaki Shrine(尾崎神社), which is a beautiful Shrine behind of Kanazawa Castle, The Central of Kanazawa. and then I'll bring you to my home for the cooking experience. After our meal, we'll go and visit to Omicho Fish Market nearby.

Mitchigo is such a lovely and fun person. I had a really good time preparing the super cute temari sushi with her. We had a wonderful time with mitchi. We were taught culinary dish of sushi, vegetable with nuts, and preparing dashi. She also gave us a heads up about many areas to visit in japan. All in all, i would really recommend her to teach others. Her english was so good and understandable.... In conclusion 超可ベリーグッド。。。。
