This practice has helped me go from using a wheelchair to hiking mountains so I'm a big advocate and can apply it to whatever your physical capabilities are. The style is called Calligraphy Qigong, it's a modern twist on an ancient practice developed by Master Yang who is from a long (400 years) lineage.

I’m an Australian wheelchair tennis champion. I competed in two Paralympics—London and Rio—and was ranked #8 in the world.

At age 13, I began a three-year battle with cancer. The only way to save my life was to remove the right half of my pelvis. I was in a wheelchair for many years, but secretly always wondered if I’d be able to walk long distances again.

Through this incredible movement practice, not only did I walk again, but I put my wheelchair away and went on to hike one of the hardest treks in the world, the Kokoda Track.

In addition to giving me back my mobility, the practices healed the chronic pain I lived with for 15 years. There's nothing I love more than practicing on the beach.

I very much enjoyed Adam's QiGong Online Experience. I participated in this experience as part of a team building exercise with my fellow colleagues at Airbnb. I really enjoyed taking an hour of my Friday afternoon to focus on my breathing and be mindful of my body movements. I felt totally relaxed after (and actually a bit sleepy!). Highly recommend attending this event. Not only will you have the opportunity to hear a powerful life story and how unexpected challenges can be wonderful life opportunities if opened, but you will also learn mindful movement and Calligraphy Qigong. Adam was thoughtful throughout the experience and engaging which is not easy on the virtual space. We all could use five minutes of our lives to slow down and be present and aware in the moment and Adam does help giving us a start. Again, highly recommend this experience - does not matter experience level on the subject, overall great event.
