I will guide on a tour of "Poggi del Chianti Winery", in a XIX century farmhouse where myself and my family produce organic wines and extra virgin olive oil.
The winery is located between the villages of Cavriglia and Gaiole in Chianti, upon the Morellino hill, around 1 hour from Florence, Siena and Arezzo.
The tour moves from the outside to the inside of the winery, focusing on the winemaking processes and the Tuscan traditions.
At the end of the visit, the tasting of the wines paired whit some seasonal snacks: white, roseè, Chianti and Chianti Classico, Supertuscan, Vinsanto del Chianti. Evo Oil.
Other things to note
Arriving by your own car it's warm suggested.
By public transportation from FLORENCE or AREZZO we are reachable by Trains, there is not a good Bus service. The closer train Station is “MONTEVARCHI TERRANUOVA”. From the local train station to the winery I can organise a pick up service.

I was born in the Chianti area and raised up between vineyards and olive orchard, a predestination for me to be a winemaker. I studied architecture and industrial design at the University of Florence, I love the Arts and I'm so sensitive to the thematic of the ecology and sustainability.
I speak English, Italian and French fluently.

You will get to see the vineyards, olive groves and cypresses that Tuscany is famous for. We will visit a old fashion boutique Winery, Family managed.

Truly authentic wine tasting experience. Mirko was very friendly and has tons of knowledge to share on the subject. The food was delicious and mainly sourced locally. You can specify if you have any dietary requirements. We left very happy with our bellies full and of course with some great wines to bring back home. Strongly recommended.

An absolutely unforgettable experience that I can not recommend highly enough! Mirko and Luka were the kindest, most hospitable hosts that went above and beyond in delivering a fun, educational and delicious experience. Mirko is a very knowledgeable and passionate wine maker who loves to teach people of all levels about his process, from beginning to end. Luka went above and beyond to deliver a beautiful dining experience, even catering to vegetarians and delivering his service with such warmth and happiness, he absolutely radiated positivity it was impossible not to leave with a smile on your face for having supported such passionate and authentic business owners. Très chouette activité! Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement malgré notre retard dû au GPS. La visite était très instructive, Mirko a su adapter la langue en fonction des participants. On sent qu’il est passionné et sait partager cette passion. Après la visite, place à la dégustation, celle-ci fut excellente ! Le vin était top (nous avons goûté 5 sortes), et la nourriture était préparée avec soin! Je ressors de là extrêmement satisfaite et positive!
