We attended this sushi making class in December 2021. Overall we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend it to others. The food was delicious, portions ample, and the owner was a welcoming and engaging teacher. Additionally, instruction was offered in both English and Japanese. There are just a few things that could be improved for future guests. First, more detailed directions would have made finding the restaurant easier. Second, it was unclear if this would be a private class or if we would be with other guests. We were with two other people during our class, but this did not negatively affect our experience. However, it would have been good to have this clarified beforehand. Finally, Airbnb listed our host as Kazuki. While the staff did an excellent job, we never met this person and it was unclear who we were supposed to be meeting at the start of our class. That said, for anyone who enjoys sushi, this is definitely a great experience to have in Tokyo.

I went we my friend to this activity, it was so much fun learning about sushi and then trying it by yourself. The end composition looked really beautiful and it was absolutely delicious. Kazuki san is very kind and very skilled chief. He also has a license to prepare famous fugu fish so feel free to ask about it! Overall beautiful experience, highly recommend to everyone!

My family had a delightful time learning how to prepare sushi with Kazuki San! Kazuki San provided clear step-by-step instructions and interesting stories about history in Tokyo. This was a wonderful experience that created a great memory for my family. We can't wait to try making sushi at home!
