Ozokwenza

We will walk him through the street of Kamata, and I can explain my living experience in Tokyo and Japan. Then we can grab some Japanese local street food like Takoyaki and Taiyaki. We will not be eating in because my dog is not accepted in these restaurants.

The experience is purely for dog lovers. I have decided to host this experience because I see that many foreigners have either never seen or walked this beautiful dog breed! Kuma is extremely friendly and will not bore you with his energy!
Then, I can take you to a grocery store to help you shop souvenirs. (Kuma can be tied and stay for about 15 minutes).
You will have plenty of time to get to know Kuma, and take many pictures with him, and play with him!
Other things to note
If you are allergic to dogs, this is not the one. If you have no experience of handling dogs before, you will not be taking the leash during the experience.

Paul, his wife and kuma(shina) are great host. They are so kind and friendly, made me comfortable. Kuma was so cute and strong, he pulled me along. It was great experience and hope to see them again!

Paul and his wife were very friendly and charismatic right off the bat and created an inviting environment me and my friends felt comfortable in. Kuma the shiba was cute and always down for pets. :) We walked around in Kamata as Paul showed us some street food spots and told us about himself and his experiences. We got to walk Kuma as well as take some nice pictures. Paul was always open to change the itinerary as we went which I really enjoyed :) Overall a genuinely great experience.

Walking an energetic shiba around Tokyo is not an easy task, but it does give you a peek into the calmer and daily life of the city. We ended up running into several people who thought Kuma was the cutest (and he is, of course) and showed us a friendly and more personal side of Tokyo that visitors may not necessarily get to see. I also got an opportunity to walk Kuma around a bit, though to be honest, I'm not a very good dog walker. Paul himself also was very friendly during the course of the experience! He was open to all of my questions and we even discussed a little bit about Japanese society. It's very clear that he loves Kuma and I never felt like he was taking advantage of Kuma. I ended up visiting another part of Tokyo I'd never seen because of him, as well as illustrating the Chinese influence on the area and its continual evolution. We also stopped at several food places for quick snacks of karaage, takoyaki, and taiyaki, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a taste of the normal. A normal routine in Tokyo, fueled mainly by sharing stories and living in the moment as passerby fail to resist the allure that is cute Kuma. It is not anything once-in-a-lifetime persay, but I think that's the point--sometimes we need a break from the unique thrills and accept something similar, but different, in order to gain a fuller perspective of the places we visit. Even if that means getting stopped occasionally to accommodate the occasional pat.

Paul was amazingly understanding. I had the unfortunate chance to experience the rare Japanese train delay but Paul was super understanding and was guiding me along the way towards the right exit and all. Kuma was wonderful to meet with. If you're a dog lover, you'll enjoy this experience as you not only get to walk a Shiba Inu, but also get to try some of the local food around the area. Paul also introduced me to a couple of great food places around Kamata.

It was really a great experience to get your own shiba inu for a stroll along the river. Kuma is clearly an enthusiastic dog and not afraid on meeting new faces :). Big thumb up as well to Paul to make such an experience possible but also to be a delightful host with a great sense of humor.
