Ozokwenza
Here we go! From July the 6th we will visit again the Louvre, with our face mask and timed tickets (not included in my tour’s price): they’re both mandatory. We’ll stay safe and explore we the most visited museum in the world, to discover the masterpieces that made it so famous: artworks that attest the greatness of many civilizations (like the Egyptian, the Greek and Roman ones) and the importance of European medieval and Renaissance art. Giotto, Botticelli, Raffaello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and, of course, Ingres, Géricault, Delacroix, David, amongst others from all over Europe. The best way to explore the huge castle that hosted kings, queens, artists and officials since the Middle Ages.
Other things to note
The tour will last 2 hours and an half, remember that tickets are not included, to buy water before starting, and bring your camera, your curiosity and your best smile. If you want a tour in Italian just contact me (https://abnb.me/WSqbN67UTZ)

https://www.instagram.com/martina_paris_84/ I am an Italian art historian based in Paris. I studied in this beautiful city, fell in love with it and eventually moved here with my family. I have a PhD in History of Art, I have always worked in this field, both in Rome and Paris. I have been working as a certified guide since 2016 in Paris, exploring the most beautiful museums and monuments with customers and friends from all over the world. I love my job: Art is definitely my universe, and the most important tool of knowledge to understand a culture. For me it’s also a way to show my culture and it’s relationship with the French one.

We will explore a very beautiful but huge museum: the Louvre is a place that can be a tiring experience, but I will guide you through the rooms and the wings of the building to show you its architecture, its beauty, and the most important masterpieces that made its collection so great and famous. You will walk a lot, up and down beautiful staircases and you will explore many halls: make sure you rest well and you wear the right kind of shoes!

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour with Martina. It was never boring and the sequence of the tour was perfectly planned. With the additional information presented by Martina on her tablet she added very interesting background stories. We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

Martina is a seasoned art expert with a university diploma in art history. That makes for a very deep tour of the Louvre Museum. In addition to that she is warm and cares about the people who hire her in a special way. She is also very flexible to meet one’s curiosity and answer all questions one might have. We were with my wife and son and she exchanged and connected immediately both with him (he had lots of questions) and with us adults. I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend booking a tour with Martina if you're interested in going to the Louvre. This isn't the cheapest tour available, but it's incredibly worth it - it's a small group which means you can ask lots of questions and Martina is an expert on art history as evidenced by her PhD.
Martina is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and we (me and two friends) learned things about the Louvre that we would have missed had we visited on our own like its rich history as a palace for different rulers and the connection between art pieces at the Louvre and Versailles (which we told Martina we were visiting the next day).
The tour is well-structured and you get to the see masterpieces which everyone talks about like Da Vinci and Venus de Milo, but you will also learn about other pieces of art which are less famous but equally (if not more) amazing and learn how they relate to the masterpieces.
