Approached by passageways and a flight of shallow steps from the High Street, it is situated at the bottom of the old town, The Rock, a pedestrian-only warren of small cobbled lanes, fishermansโ cottages and even the old town jail.
This has been a holiday let for many years - we loved staying here so much, we bought it!

Min-y-don Cottage : The perfect holiday base
Min-y-don cottage is a fully equipped traditional Welsh stone built cottage with double glazing and gas central heating. It retains it's original oak beams but has a full width staircase for easy access between floors. On the ground floor It has an open lounge-diner with a sofa bed whilst upstairs is a separate double bedroom and bathroom/toilet. The cottage comes with it's own private gated parking space. It's placed within seconds of all town amenities.

No. 2 Brooklands, situated 50m off the A493 at Friog, Fairbourne, has been in our family for over 100 years and we all love it dearly. It is very well equipped with a homely feel. You will find it clean and tidy with most modern conveniences.
It is perfectly placed between the mountains and the sea to enjoy all things outdoors, whether it be mountain biking, hill walking, paddle boarding or just taking your dog/s along the mile long sandy beach.
