Tips-Based Walking Tour of Vancouver
Join us through some of the most popular and historic areas of Vancouverโ€™s core - Gastown, Waterfront and Downtown. You will connect with the past and present in the most vibrant city on the west coast. This highly rated tour begins with the world-famous views of Vancouver's harbor at Canada Place. After introductions and a catching story of the mountains, we will take an easy walk into downtown to understand how Vancouver was shaped to become the fourth largest port on the west coast of North America. Next we will marvel at the most recognizable architecture in the city, and because youโ€™re with a local expert, weโ€™ll go places that are exclusively known and accessed by the locals. Throughout the tour we will hear the stories and tales that define the city. Next, letโ€™s meet one of Canadaโ€™s national heroโ€™s and be inspired by his journey. To conclude, weโ€™ll make sure youโ€™re well-informed with how to spend the rest of your day or visit (including exclusive access to discounted attraction tickets among other things). Weโ€™ll drop you off near where we started and from there the possibilities are endless. *Tip-based walking tour means you can join this tour for nearly free (you're only charged a small booking fee & taxes) after which you have the freedom to tip your guide what you feel the tour was worth based on your 3-hour experience. We recommend $25 CAD/person.
Explore the Lost Souls of Gastown
Immerse yourself in the chilling dramas of historic Gastown as you venture into Vancouver's earliest and most gruesome history on this 90-minute walking tour. Follow the lamplight of your guide as you discover the terror of a Great Fire that ate up Gastown in minutes, the long forgotten plague of smallpox, and the unsolved murder of John Bray. Designed for adult audiences, the experience is both a walking tour and a theatre piece. Your guide is a professional actor, performing in character throughout. Every story is grounded in documented Vancouver history, taken from the city archives. The plot line is woven together as the tragic tale of one person's life, ending in a dramatic finale in Gastown's Maple Tree Square. Every one of Gastown's must-see sites and landmarks is visited on the walk, the oldest hotel, the Gastown Steam Clock, youโ€™ll see how Vancouver looked before and after the Great Fire, explore notorious Gaoler's Mews, and walk down the back alleys of Water Street to famous Maple Tree Square. Do not expect a ghost tour or conventional walking tour โ€“ this is a performance experience that will pull you so deep into the swirling lamplight and darkened alleys of Gastownโ€™s murky past, you may have a hard time finding your way back outโ€ฆ

Hiking with Goats
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. The boys can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!
