We will pass some of the city's main attractions and teach you about the city's history and fascinating Basque culture. You will experience both the traditional pintxo culture and the avant-garde culinary scene. This experience will be an authentic look at Basque gastronomic culture and the important role that it plays in daily life. We will try 6+ spectacular pintxos each paired with a local drink from 3-4 different establishments. We will create a custom pintxo tour for you, based on your personal preferences, and teach you how to identify and order the best pintxos on your own. Come experience San Sebastian's gastronomic scene. Blow your mind with the best food in the world. The tour will last approximately 4.5 hours. Other things to note We will experience the BEST pintxos in San Sebastian! The tour is molded after a Michelin star menu. That said, we will not be visiting a Michelin star restaurant because they do not serve pintxos.

It is possible to adapt the 6 pintxos for vegetarians, but because most of the ingredients in our culture are of animal origin, it is not a course suitable for vegans. Sorry. -We will set up a little stand with different props for you to take beautiful photographs of the Pintxos you've prepared, so you can share your experience and new knowledge with family and friends. If we find more members at the kitchen during our visit to my Gastronomic Club, you can interact with them while they are cooking some local dishes. We dive straight into the culinary heart of the city for a night of eating and drinking unlike any you’ve ever experienced. From fresh prawns to line-caught baby squid to perfectly charred steak, the pintxo hunt changes nightly but always features a range of traditional spots and chic, avant-garde bars. A las 7h quedaremos frente al ayuntamiento,. Del ayuntamiento iremos al apartamento en Santodomingo. En el apartamento te ofrecere un desayuno donde podras degustar una variedad de productos navarros. Veremos a los corredores cantar desde el balcon al Santo San fermin y tras esto, podras ver el encierro. Tras terminar, os informare sobre la historia de los Sanfermines y sobre nuestra cultura

(contacte por mensaje para acordar la fecha) *8:50 Salimos en tren desde Donostia-San Sebastian hasta Zarautz (sólo dura 30 minutos). *9,20 Caminaremos por la playa y respirar aire puro *Visitaremos el mercado rural donde degustaremos producto local como sidra, queso y dulce de manzana *Después pasearemos por la parte antigua con sus monumentos y leyendas y subiremos por la calzada romana que es parte del Camino de Santiago, parando en el Torreón de 1913 para disfrutar de vistas únicas y respirar aire puro. *Visitaremos una bodega de Txakoli familiar, que cuida con mimo sus viñas para obtener unos buenos txakolis de calidad *Continuaremos hasta el pueblo medieval de Getaria conocido por el txakoli y el pescado a la parrilla, maravilloso! Conoceremos su historia y anécdotas. *14,45: Una vez terminada la excursión puedes elegir entre volver a Donostia-San Sebastián en bus público o quedarte en Getaria (recomendado). After a briefing, we will go to the balconies of an apartment located in the MERCADERES street and LA CURVA de la ESTAFETA (more details provided after booking) to enjoy and understand the Running from a Balcony. I will give you all the information you need, so that you will not miss any detail of what happens in the street. While we wait and while we enjoy the event, I will explain you the historical details and will provide you information and many other details to understand our traditions, our culture, etc. You will understand everything during and after the running event. Exploring the basque culture one pintxo at a time. We will explore wines from all parts of Spain and I'll show you wines to look out for while travelling around Spain - no Verdejo in sight! These bars are not to be missed, from the top quality food to the atmosphere and people along the way. Let me show you the reason I fell in love with this city and everything it has to offer. We will stop at 4 bars to taste their best pintxo paired with the perfect drink. This tour will cover 1-2km of walking. By the end of this tour, you’ll have full bellies, cheery cheeks and a new found way of experiencing Donostia. Vegetarians, pescatarians, seafood allergy/avoiders & gluten-free... fear not! Along the route I'll show you the sites & tell you about the history & culture of the Basque Country, but my focus is definitely on FOOD & DRINK. There's no better way to learn why this is one of the world's most delicious culinary capitols. My route & the menu changes daily, but we'll do a mix from the traditional to the modern. Expect to dine of anchovies, squid, bacalao, veal cheeks, foie gras, maybe we'll nibble on a pig ear or two? Thirsty? I'm great at pairing the perfect pour with the perfect plate, from local ciders to white wine (txakoli), young & aged tempranillo from La Rioja & beyond. There's also beer & vermouth! We're gonna have a blast, get a good walk in, have some laughs & of course EAT & DRINK VERY WELL.

Collect the best mountain products, visiting artisan producers and cooking lunch in my father's "gastronomic society". We will drive 50 minutes from San Sebastian, to go deep into the mountains, in the heart of the Basque Country, where I was lucky to be born and grow. While we enjoy a very easy and beautiful walk, we will visit two rural farm-houses that are dedicated to the artisanal elaboration of food and drinks. We will get to know their lifestyle closely and throughout the morning we will not stop tasting homemade products such as cheeses, bread, sausages, eggs, vegetables, fruits, honey, flowers, wine and cider among others. Having collected the best food, we will descend to my hometown, to enjoy the atmosphere of the street while having a wine. And finally, we will go back up the mountain, to cook and enjoy a good meal together, in a "gastronomic society", without missing good wines. * Gastronomic societies : They are the paradise of the local gastronomy, where you will feel like at home and where you can experience the region’s gastronomy from first hand. The love of food and social dining is what brings together family groups and friends to cook, top quality ingredients with loving care.
