We will swim and snorkel near Havana to find the remains of one of either this two ships, SS Olivette or City of Alexandria, both American ships that sank in the waters off Havana in an incredible, historic natural event. Depending on the weather and the guests' skills, we will decide to go to one of them each time. We will meet early in the morning in Old Havana. On the way to the beach, I will tell you the story of the century-old shipwreck. AT THE BEACH, we will warm up with simple physical exercises and go over the safety rules. We will also check everybody's comfort with sea activities, as safety is an absolute priority. If needed, we will teach you basic breath-holding techniques. We will swim 450 yards over the coral reef (SS Olivette) or 300 yards (City of Alexandria) until we get on top of the shipwreck. Normally, you can see the wreck perfectly from the water's surface. The whole expedition might take two to three hours. Later, we can enjoy the beach while sharing stories about nice snorkeling adventures. This is a whole day experience to enjoy an exceptional place in the Cuban countryside. We will start bring you in your Airbnb or hotel at 7:30AM so we need your address. The trip is approximately 2h 30 minutes traveling to the last province in the west of Cuba, Pinar del Rio. On the way we will see several nice landscapes and we will learn a little bit of life in the countryside and you can asking anything that you want to know about Cuba. Lunch may take a while so some snacks will not go wrong. Once in Viñales we will visit the tobacco farm where we will see how is the process of the collection,driyng and confection of a Cuban cigar. Then we will take a horseback ride into the valley near the mogotes. Our lunch will be at a local restaurant to enjoy an authentic creole menu. Other places of interest are the Indian cave where we will take a boat ride inside it and the prehistoryc mural, in both places I will explain about the life of the native Cuban Indians (tickets includes). Our last stop before returning to Havana will be at my favorite place of the excursion, the viewpoint of Viñales Valley, from where we can see all the places we visit and we will take some unforgettable shots of our experience. El Casino (nombre original del baile en Cuba) es un baile en pareja, asi que tendrás que aprender una de dos: Guiar o Seguir Utilizando solamente el lenguaje corporal, no vale decir verbalmente lo que vas a hacer a tu pareja, que te conozco jejeje Para terminar podrás llevarte un video con la prueba de todo lo que lograste dominar en la clase.... Iniciaremos un viaje hasta llegar al Parque Nacional Viñales, primero conocerás a mi primo; Ariel, quien será su guía. Visitaremos: El Mirador de los Jazmines, donde se observa la vista más hermosa del Valle de Viñales. Seguidamente pasaremos por el Mural de la Prehistoria para conocer la historia de este lugar y lo que representan las pinturas prehistóricas. Nos trasladaremos hasta la Cueva del Indio para realizar un paseo en bote dentro de la Cueva a través de un rio subterráneo que atraviesa la misma. Desde aquí, nos dirigiremos hasta la granja de tabaco de mi familia; montando a caballo o caminando llegaremos hasta allí para explorar el pintoresco Valle del Silencio. Pasaremos un tiempo aquí; Mientras el chef nos prepara el almuerzo; le mostraremos los cultivos y conoceremos a nuestros animales antes de visitar el interior de la casa de tabaco donde le enseñaremos como elaborar su propio cigarro y fumarlo ¡naturalmente con un trago o dos de ron para la autenticidad cubana!
