We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

The room has two beds with a private bathroom. It is in a 12 year old house situated in the farm Múli in Hjaltadalur. From Múli is 2 km to the historical place Hólar in Hjaltadalur and about 30 km to Sauðárkrókur and 24 km to Hofsós. Hjaltadalur is a beautiful place with its surrounding mountains and peaceful river running through. In the valley are lots of hiking trails and old historical places to see.

Kaffi Holar Cottages and Apartments are located in north Iceland, close to the Hólabyrða mountain. We offer accommodation in Cottages, and also in Apartments. Hólar is known best for being the main site and campus for Hólar University College. The oldest stone church in the country, Hóladómkirkja is right off the Holar Cottages and Apartments.
