We'll start this experience fist of all introducing about Batik and some tools which we will use, and also the way to do properly. Then We will learn how to make batik until the end of the process led by the local people, and also we can take the result of painting batik as the souvenir. While waiting for the the batik dry after dying process we can enjoy visiting the Sojiwan Temple close to the Batik Place (no include the entrace ticket). This activity also good to combine with your tour to Prambanan Temple. No need untill the end of process if you are in hurry, after coloring you can leave it to visit the temple then the batik result we can bring it to the temple.

Yogyakarta is a famous city with the batik. Visiting Yogyakarta will be not complete without seeing or buying a batik. And why not do more than just seeing or buying the batik. Make it your self as its much more fun! You will make the batik in Kotagede. It is about 6 kilometres from the city center. Its an old town where the first kingdom of Yogyakarta was built. Here you will make batik with the local atmosphere. You will make a batik using canting ( special tools for batik) and hot wax. Then you will do coloring. After the coloring process is finish while waiting for the dry you will get a lunch with traditional food from here. Then you will have a small tour with me or with my co-host go around the area. You will go back and bring your own batik as a beautiful souvenir.

The trip start at midnight from the city area or i also can pick up from bali to ijen with extra charge, 1am midnight pickup from the hotel or harbour and will be arrive at ijen mountain around 2am, start hiking for 2 hours you need jacket at the beginning after hiking your body will be warming, after 2 hours hiking we are in the top and go to blue fire, mining sulfure area, and sunrise point and some beautiful iconic spots. We will begin in serene Prambanan; a famous town a little ways east of Yogyakarta city. Our place just close to Prambanan Temple so you can visit easily. We will star cycle in the nort of Prambanan Temple Complex through idyllic stretches of rice fields and little villages until we reach our first destination photo spot with the background beautiful hidden gem twin temple "Plaosan" ( also possible to get inside the temple ) - Then visit the local houses where we will learn the traditional ways of making one of Indonesia’s iconic foods "Emping" (melinjo chips) Then continue cycling around, enjoying the view of rice fields. We will be ready to help you to take good pictures during the tour Countinue trip to the local house to see the process of making tofu (we can try the fresh tofu and soya milk here)- then visit stingless bee keeping (visitor can try the pure honey straight from the hive) - on the way back stop in hidden gem temple in the village " Gana temple" - back to our meeting point. Yo will experience how to make silver craft directly with the expert in your very own design. - Design your jewelry (either ring, earings, or pendant) - Forge the material, then carving it. - After that, soldering the craft - Finish with polishing it to brighten the color. The silversmith will help and polish up your crafts. Then, you will bring home the result. BONUS!! I will guide you to have a minitour at area of the oldest mosque in Yogya. We start drive and hike up to Ijen after some hours relaxing sleep in the cosy rooms. Climbing takes from about 2 hours and tracks are some places steep but not difficult. If we are lucky there is waiting fabulous act of lights. Anyway this depends about the volcano activity. The blue fire is unique light act which you possible will see once in your life time. In the morning rising sun is showing amazing views and same time hard working locals are carrying heavy sulfur pieces for industry. When you are ready we can walk back to the base camp and car. We are happy to arrange transportation to West Bali from your South / East Bali accommodation (places like Kuta or Ubud, Seminyak). On the way you can have stops at places like local morning market, rise fields, temple, feeding monkeys, water fall or natural hot spring. Please ask the price and timetable. Other things to note You should have good shoes and backpack is needed. Up mountains it can be colder and you may need long sleeve shirt, water + fast energy. The climb about 800 vertical meters requires good condition.

Our morning food walk tour is very similar to our night walk and the only difference is that in our morning tour we focus a little more on what "wong yogjo" eat at this time of the day, for breakfast/lunch!

The trip will start from Either Surabaya or Malang. I'll pick you up wherever your hotel is or wherever you want me to pick you up and we're heading straight to Probolinggo during midnight. The trip to Probolinggo itself will take approximately 2 hours. After reaching Probolinggo, we continue our trip by changing vehicle to a 4WD vehicle, a vehicle like no others. A classic 1970's Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 that will bring us toward sunrise viewpoint. Once there, we'll wait for the sunrise at the local Warung around viewpoint to get to know the people and trying some sweet local snack. After the sunrise and couple of pictures, we'll head to mount Bromo for a light hike and seeing the area surrounding including the Pura Luhur Poten. As the trip is about to end, we head straight for a breakfast at a Restaurant serving an Indonesian Cuisine. Once tummy is filled, we head back to Surabaya to call it a day.
