A unique outdoor yoga experience on the beautiful Princeville Makai Golf course that begins with a short walk to our practice space boasting some of the most exquisite views on the North Shore of Kauai. On a bluff nestled above Queen's bath overlooking Hideaway's beach, with the majestic ridges of the Hanalei & Haena mountains revealing their details in the shifting morning light, we practice a mellow yoga flow catered specifically to the group. Morning birds and ocean waves are the soundtrack to our practice supporting a calm state of mind and a deeper sense of presence. Clouds shape shift against bright blue sky, rainbows materialize, whales breach, albatross’ nest and hatch and fledge, the breeze cools us while the sun vitalizes, and occasionally a light Hawaiian rain offers a refreshing blessing. (It truly is as magical as it sounds!) Class concludes with an invitation to have (yoga) photos taken to playfully capture the beauty of the moment, within you and around you. The experience wraps with a return to where we started, more centered and awake than when we began! Please note- * Class is designed to be accessible to all body types and levels of experience. Beginners & advanced practitioners alike are welcome. Class is uniquely crafted to meet the needs of the students. * Yoga mats are not provided. Please bring a large towel, or travel mat.

We meet at the Kauai Inn and I explain the instruments (drums) we're going to play. We start with simple beats and practice as long as everybody gets it. No worries if you never have been drumming before in your life. I also explain what the drums stand for in the community and how they were used in ancient Hawaii. After one hour of drumming, we start practicing the firedancing. The boys with the samoan fireknife and the girls with the mauri poiballs. We practice without fire for a while and who ever wants to light it on fire, is very welcome to try it (no worries I'll help you). You can take nice pictures and videos while performing with fire. Other things to note And again, if you are beginners, never drum or played with fire in your entire life, don't worry, in my class are all levels of drummer and firedancer from 5 years to 70 years old!

During the Kauai Nectar adventure... We will spend about an hour exploring the hives, our tasks being dictated by whatever the hives need each day. Including: Collecting Pollen Shifting boxes Examining hives & their occupants You will have the opportunity to learn about the biology, life cycles, and societal structures of the beehives. We will finish the morning with local raw honey and pollen tasting. You'll leave with your very own jar of honey from one of Kauai Nectar’s apiaries. We do have an age limit for this tour, if your child does not meet the requirement, please request a private tour! We are happy to invite younger children to visit the bees, the limit is only to accommodate other guests during a group tour. Other things to note: You will sweat in the bee suit, wear light comfortable clothing, close-toed shoes, long socks. We will meet at the Apiary, located in Kapa'a directly across from Kealia Beach. We share the property with multiple local farmers including a functioning Cacao farm that we incorporate into our line of infused honeys. We meet at Makaleha mountain and hike to gather some water from the fresh water spring. We hike another 10minutes to harvest bamboo. I have been making bambooflutes for 20 years so I know exactly what we can use (age, size, color). Every person can pick their own to make an instrument. I explain what is important to know about cutting bamboo. I also explain all the native plants around us - which you can eat or use for healing. I do “La’au Lapaau” which is Hawaiian medicine. I survived 2 years out in the jungle with that knowledge - eating off the land. The hiking part is over and we drive back tomy house, where everybody is making their own noseflute or other instrument. They drill and burn the holes and I help them to find sound. For a snack we serve fresh Kalo (Taro), Sweet Potatoes (Ualaa), Avocados or coconut candy. Opening coconuts, Drumming and weaving optional, if we have some time left and if the guests are interested in doing that. Other things to note It's a short hike on a muddy trail. We also have to cross a river. The hike is not longer than 30min all in all and also kids can do it.

You must however know how to swim and snorkel *** In this lesson we will conduct Shallow Water - Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing, cultural education, and exhilarating techniques to catch dinner, and provide for your Ohana (Family). Meeting time will be at 10:00am at Anini Place. (Location Instructions will be sent to you after booking) Once united we will promptly begin with a 30 minute safety & educational briefing, then take a restroom break. After that we will walk to our entry point and partake in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony. (A Hawaiian tradition passed down through generations.) Next we will start our 90 minute shallow water dive, and experience Hawaii’s Largest Barrier Reef. We're looking forward to sharing with you our favorite piece of beach paradise on the island that is easy to overlook if you're on the typical tourist trail :) We'll start by start hiking down the cliff trail, through a lush forest to a beautiful coastline along coral reefs, where you'll catch the most epic glimpses of this beautiful paradise spot. (As a forewarning, please know this cliff is steep, and requires intermediate hiking skills.) Once we arrive to the beach, we'll share with you some interesting facts on cacao and its healing benefits, and you'll get to try your very own ceremonial cacao elixir. Next, time to jump into the beautiful water! We'll do a Hawaiian cleansing ritual, then Carlos or Pat will guide you through a short mindful snorkeling experience, where you will learn to develop a relationship with the ocean and its wildlife. You'll pick out your favorite ukulele from our selection, grab your beverage of choice from the local market and settle in to learn the basics of holding and strumming the ukulele! This is set for children 10 and up ! You will be introduced to a few simple chords that will allow you to play around 300 songs from the 50's and 60's. After rearranging those same chords, you will learn how to play hundreds more popular songs from the 70's until the present. We then learn 3 more chords and the blues, which translates to thousands more songs! You'll also learn to solo over these and a beautiful local Hawaiian tune! Each student of ours is always able to take their lesson booklet home with them after the class. This short 'n sweet lesson is also the perfect way to spend a rainy evening in one of the most beautiful places in the world, with one of the best views! (Because we know how much Kauai loves her rain...) Lessons start at 6:00 pm, please arrive early to choose an uke & settle in! Our group lessons are talkative, informative & easy going. Forest Bath As we know Air is one of the most important elements. Join me on a nature walk through the largest Mahogany Forest in the world. *I will lead us through breath/ stretch meditation* After this adventure you will feel restored, this is a place to relax your mind and to ease your soul. Together we will walk 2 miles through a mahogany forest. (4 miles round trip or option to just hike one way which would only be 2 miles) Everywhere you look is green, lush and vibrant. You will be surrounded by a backdrop of beautiful, green mountains. Home of majestic, rescue horses, and cattle. Our destination will be a stone dam river/ swimming hole. The landscape of this specific area is gorgeous, you will see native plants, and trees. Absolutely stunning! There’s a nice grass patch to lounge and listen to the birds sing and the fresh water flow. This experience is one of a kind. It’s one of the many gems Kauai holds. Forest bathing is health beneficial in so many ways. A peaceful state of mind being one. This is an experience of a lifetime full of peace&ALOHA.

Aloha Movement is fusion of yoga, hula, and tai chi. You will learn traditional Hawaiian culture, language, and stories as I guide you through mindful movement, aligned with your breath, surrounded in nature. Be prepared to move your body, be barefoot in the sand and/or grass, and enjoy the natural elements. Water, sunscreen, towel, and slippers (flip-flops) are recommended. Ready to spread some Aloha at one of the best surf places on earth. Surfing is the Hawaiian traditional sport and also one way that they spread the Aloha vibe . Kauia has the best surf breaks and also crystal clear blue and warm waters. There are multiple surf spots that we could have our experience based on your skills. I usually take my guests to Kahalu'u Bay but if you are an advanced surfer we can go to different spots according to your level. I have different size surfboards that you can use. Once we decide where to surf, we will meet at the beach. First I will give you some basic information and safety guidelines about surfing, then we will practice on the shore for a little bit. After we will have an hour to catch some waves and share the aloha spirit with others.
