Our daily free walking tour is a very good start of your visit in Vilnius as it gives an overview of the city and it's culture. The aim of the tour is not only to to show for the city guests the highlights of Vilnius but also walk the group through the secret courtyards and passages that would be hard for the travelers to discover on their own. The tour starts at the Cathedral Square and we present you the brief history of Vilnius. You will find out how our Grand Dukes ruled the city and what enemies the Grand Duchy of Lithuania had in the Middle Ages. You will probably be surprised to learn how powerful, big and threatening the country was in the past. After some time, we take take you through the narrow, medieval streets of the old town towards an area where mostly Jews and Germans lived in the past. You will get to know about different nationalities that lived in the city, how they all cohabit together and what happened to them, as Vilnius today is not so multi-ethnic anymore. For the dessert, we will show you the Republic of Uzupis – the magical part of Vilnius that has its own crazy story. A hot air balloon flight with one of the most experienced pilot in Baltic States, my father Romanas Mikelevicius (only in Lithuanian, Polish or Russian. English and Spanish with other pilots) Vilnius is the only capital city in Europe where you can fly a hot air balloon in. We offer to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. The whole process would take about 4 hours. The flight would be 1 hour long. The flight includes interesting stories about history of ballooning in Lithuania.

We will begin with a briefing, introduction to canoe paddling and will practice some basic canoe strokes. Led by a guide you will paddle towards the Old Town of Klaipeda, exploring the old embankments, mid-century Memel fortifications and finally the old town with its Prussian architecture. We‘ll cook together Lithuanian dishes using old traditional recipes and afterward will enjoy the food you just learned how to make. Cooking class is held in our cozy home environment. Hello, fellow photography lovers. We will meet at the Old Arsenal in the center of the city and I will prepare some fun photo challenges which will let you to find exciting compositions and improve your skills. We will start by climbing The Hill of Three Crosses where you can take postcard type pictures of Vilnius. From the highest point of our journey we will then go down to explore Užupis Republic via side streets and paths. On the way we will be looking for street art and make some colorful, abstract type of pictures. I will give you some useful tips how to improve your compositions. During the midpoint of our walk we will sit down for a coffee or tea and I will give you some more advice and pointers about the art of photography which I learned through the years of practice. Refreshed we will continue to the beautiful Old Town of Vilnius, discovering best spots to take panoramas of the city, looking for more colorful street art and actually making our own art. I will be your personal photo guide and at the end our our walk, if you follow my little photo challenge, you will walk away with your own unique album of Vilnius. Before we part, I will take a professional portrait of you and send you a fully retouched photograph for you to remember our trip. Other things to note Please bring comfortable clothes and walking shoes as we will climb to the Hill of Three Crosses. And don't forget the camera :) It doesn't have to be professional, you can also use your phone. Regardless of equipment I will give you tips how to improve your photos, either with camera or the phone.

Meeting point would be in the Cathedral square next to Bell Tower. From there we will walk through the old town hidden places which are so authentic and usually people pass through without entering while crossing some of the highlights of the Old Town. I will take professional photos of you and share knowledge on making great shots. I will definatelly help you with posing! I will provide 25 or more edited beautiful photos <3

Exploring the Soviet past in Vilnius means diving into its quirks and absurdities, the funny and sad stories, and the harsh realities about life in ‘the best country in the world.’ On this tour, you’ll learn about Stalin’s horrors, as well as our the struggles, resistance, and drive for freedom that destroyed the Soviet empire. For 50 years, Lithuania was a Soviet republic and this period left many visible marks. This is a country where partisan war lasted for nine years, where almost every family has someone who perished in Gulags, where unarmed people protected their country from Soviet tanks, and where the collapse of the Soviet Union began. Walking and riding through Soviet blocks, WE’ll tell you about what life was like to be a citizen during that era - WE’ll pop into a Soviet-inspired restaurant to taste very special ‘delicacies’ from Soviet times discuss all the details and rituals of daily life, like what locals ate for breakfast, and find out why good friends were more important than money. YOU will end up your tour in the point of no return - former KGB headquarters and prison - for a different kind of experience.

The adventure begins in remote area of national park, located at the very end of the Minija River. We will start with a briefing, introduction to canoe paddling and will practice some basic canoe strokes in the local marina. We will paddle to our first stop for approximately forty minutes. A short coffee break with snacks and we are ready to enter the shallow waters of the Curonian Lagoon. The local feathered inhabitants will probably be aware of our arrival long before we will see them, so get ready to bog down into bulrush and water lilies. There is not that much camouflage options for the “sitting duck's” like us. Depending on the season, we may see red-necked grebe, bittern, white-tailed eagle, Montagu’s Harrier, cormorants, swans and many more. There are 170 different species of birds here in total, and if we are lucky enough, we might see the most gracious of them. After changing a couple of spots, your guide will take some stunning pictures of you paddling. You will also get some pictures taken from a drone! Other things to note We will pick you up with a car or a minivan, depending on a group size. It's about 1h ride till we will take you to the “hard to reach” spots that are only accessible by canoe.

We will pick you up at our meeting point (see below) in the Old Town of Klaipeda. A quick transfer to the upper reaches of Dane River and we are ready to paddle. We will begin with a briefing, introduction to canoe paddling and will practice some basic canoe strokes. Led by a guide you will paddle towards the Old Town of Klaipeda, exploring the old embankments, mid-century Memel fortifications and finally the old town with its Prussian architecture. This is a short, yet guided tour, so we will tell you a lot of interesting facts about the history of this almost 800 year old town and of course will make some memorable pictures of you paddling this stylish cedar strip canoe. Other things to note This city tour is suitable for travelers with tight schedule. It is also a great introduction into paddling and an opportunity to experience a real cedar strip canoe in action.

During the activity, I will be sharing my own personal experience as a Mediterranean expat living in the Baltics for over 2 years, as well as tips on my favourite spots to visit and hang in the Old Town and the Uzupis quarter, the bohemian district in Vilnius. During our walk we`ll find huge Chair with the pool inside, gigantic eggs covered with moss, steel house with moving floors and many other wonders of contemporary art. While exploring artworks created by artists from 35 countries of the world , you will also get to know the inspiring story of Europos Parkas, starting from the dream of young artist (19 years old at that time) to fuse nature and art in the Centre of Europe just after Lithuania regained Independence.
