We will meet for a short orientation outside the barn. We will then introduce you to "the herd" and select a few horses to demo how to approach them, halter and lead them, groom them. You will then be helped to choose your own horse for the day. If the weather is cooperative, we can go for a short trail walk and perhaps see some of the wildlife who seem to be more comfortable and come closer when we humans are attached to a horse! Q and A is ongoing. All questions are welcome, and we will make every effort to gear the experience to the guests' individual ages and interests. Some may simply want the 'therapy value' of touching and communicating. Some may want information on how we care for the horses. Some may want a demo on how we show them in competition. Energetic guests may want to take a horse over a set of appropriately scaled jumps or obstacles. All can be arranged, and everyone in the group can do something different, as long as I can maintain my ability to be six places at once. :) We can also provide a special occasion for any age guest and his or her celebrants, with appropriate refreshments that you bring along or order here. Other things to note Please dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes, please. Sunscreen and bug repellent are handy seasonally. E-bike the trails of Manchester. Great mountain biking right here in town. I will show you the trails. Message me to set up a custom experience. Guests are fitted with a top quality electric mountain bike, helmet and knee/elbow pads. We do a 15 minute fundamentals lesson which covers body position, braking and turning. Based on ability and preference, we will ride around town to three different trail networks. We will ride fun trails, see the sights of Manchester, discuss mountain biking and maximize fun. This electric-assist mountain biking experience focuses on safety, fun and learning. Guests can find their flow, explore nature, exercise, gain skills and unlock courage. The experience can be customized for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Feel free to say hi and we’ll set up an awesome experience. My schedule is flexible.

Explore the best craft breweries in Portsmouth. Good beer and good people – cruising in a Vintage VW Bus to the best breweries. We typically visit three: Liars Bench, Great Rhythm, Earth Eagle, and/or Portsmouth Brewery, Stoneface, Loaded Question, Cisco (subject to chance and availability without notice). *Guests pay for beer tastings at each location, anticipate between $10-12 in tastings per person per brewery. Coronavirus Update: Guests who are not vaccinated are required to wear masks while on the property of the breweries (both indoors and outdoors). Once seated, you can remove your mask. Thank you! We will Kayak the off the radar still waters of Vermont. On our adventure will be on the lookout for Otters, Loons, Beavers and a whole lot more! We will share some stories, have some laughs and enjoy the quiet sounds of the best of Vermont Other things to note I am flexible with the times and dates. Sometimes we meet closer to kayak sites if that fits easier in your schedule. Just let me know what is best for you.

We'll walk to each of the street murals, stop and check them out. Take pictures. I'll show you other places of interests as we make our way to each of the murals. This will be a one hour guided art walk. If you are new to Portsmouth NH, it's also a great way to scout the town for good food, music and watering holes while checking out downtown Street Art. You’ll arrive at the John Paul Jones House garden for a meet and greet. We’ll set you up on a 21-speed comfort bicycle and fit you to a helmet. We’ll go over bicycle safety, rules of the road and bicycle operation. Once you’re comfortable and ready, we’ll depart on an adventure to see the "must-see" historic sites of the area and cover about ten miles in two hours. This is a great tour to experience and see the best of Portsmouth and New Castle Island’s coastal communities. Portsmouth is a culturally hip city with over 70 well-preserved historic homes, numerous restaurants, microbreweries, and several performing art venues. You’ll be our guest as we take a leisurely ride into Prescott Park and along the glistening waters of the Piscataqua River. From here, we’ll pedal our way over to Four Tree and Pierce Island for a brief visit to mention the maritime history and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. We’ll hop back on our bicycle and pedal our way to the Island of New Castle. We’ll visit New Castle Common to hear a brief history and view the lighthouses, forts and Isle of Shoals. From here, we’ll make our way to Fort Stark and the Wentworth-by-the-Sea. This is a great tour to take in the scenery and history all while getting a little exercise. We’ll stop at historic landmarks, parks, forts and sites along the way. We’ll show you the hidden gems of the area over the course of two hours.

We can start your ride anytime, just ask prior to booking so I can adjust the timing on our booking. My experience begins at the Sewall Woods recreational area, where guests are provided hard tail mountain bikes, helmets and water. I’ll explain how your bikes work and give tips along the way for those newer to trail riding. At Sewall woods we have about 4 miles of single track, mountain biking trail, through a quiet heavily wooded area. Once we’ve completed Sewall we will continue to the Fernald Station singletrack off the Cotton Valley railtrail. Here the trail rambles along the Wiley Brook for a mile or so, before winding back into the woods, for a few more miles of twisty singletrack. After we’ve completed our ride, I’m glad suggest places to eat of other fun things to do in the area. My experience is well suited for riders of all ages. You should be proficient on a bike and in good physical condition. We’ll ride at a pace that’s comfortable for everyone, but keep in mind, mountain biking is a demanding sport. We will be birdwatching at the beautiful Odiorne Point State Park near Portsmouth, NH. Odiorne Point is situated on the ocean and at the mouth of the historic Piscataqua River. With binoculars and scopes provided, your 2-hour guided tour will bring you into safe viewing distance to a fantastic diversity of birds. Over 300 species have been recorded here. Your guide will lead you to birding hotspots and view points for locating, observing, and identifying the refuge's diverse birds. Identification by birdsong and call lessons is also offered. The Farm to Ballet is the most unique event, even if you don't like dance. Our farm setting with incredable sunset and back drop, food, Barr Hill bar and other items for sale during the event. It's ballet at it's finest with professional dancers from around the country that zoom auditioned to be chosen to preform. The ballet explores the relationship between farmers and land, natural food cycles, and the human role in ecosystems all with unique costumes!

Mt Washington is the bucket list hike for every New Englander. It dominates the valley and all the mountains surrounding it. There is no place like it on earth in fact, having recorded some of the most extreme weather conditions on the planet at the summit. Hiking up is an unforgettable experience and once you are at the top the views make you feel like you are on top of the world. We will hike up the Tuckerman Ravine trail from the Pinkham Notch visitors center stopping at the Hermit Lakes shelter and other viewpoints along the way. The hike is very challenging but rewards you at every turn. You must come prepared with proper clothing and footwear so please check the required gear list to make sure you are ready for the elements. You won't want to miss this experience and having a guide will make sure you make it to the top safely. Leave your worries about being outside alone at home, our trip will have someone with wilderness medical training to ensure participant health and safety is a priority in every scenario. The hike will take us 6 to 8 hours roundtrip depending on our pace and is approximately 9 miles. The option to take the cog railway or catch a ride in a van down is available but must be arranged beforehand. Guests are responsible for paying the fare for the guide to come down with them.

We'll meet and go over the basics of fly casting and some basic fishing technique, fly selection and equipment, as well as some basic fishing ethics, then travel to one of several area locations very close by to perfect these techniques on the water. We'll meet at Echo Lake, located in North Conway, just a five minute drive from downtown. From there we'll take a beginner level walk around the lake, where I can teach you a little bit about the history of the area - I grew up in New Hampshire so I know all the ins and out of the area! We'll take tons of candid shots and staged portraits as well. I've been a professional photographer for the past decade and know how to make even the shyest person feel comfortable in from of the camera! This is the perfect experience for couples, families, proud pet owners, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or anyone looking to do something of the beaten path on your New Hampshire vacation. As a local, I'll be sure to guide you to best spots on the lake - and have even better recommendations for restaurants and other fun actives in the area!
