Our bespoke guide details the best. Two-Michelin starred restaurant Gidleigh Park is a 20-minute drive away, and for beach lovers, the sandy coves of South Devon aren't far. Access all areas. We love having personal contact with our guests and are happy to suggest ideas for local things to do and help with special requirements. On booking, we send out our guide, with all our favourite local restaurants, walks, beaches etc. Dartmoor is one of the UK's largest remaining wildernesses, and offers dozens of woodland and moorland walks on the cottage's doorstep. Come across thatched hamlets, Stone Age circles, wooded gorges, wild ponies, fairytale castles, and sandy coves. The cottage is quite remote so if you want to explore Dartmoor, we'd recommend bringing a car. There are plenty of things to do on the doorstep, especially if you like walking, eating, drinking and being pampered (and who doesn't?!). Some guests simply get dropped off to the cottage by taxi from Exeter St David's train station and are more than happy doing local walks, visiting the pub and trying out all the five-star facilities at Bovey Castle Hotel. You can order a food delivery ahead of your arrival, which we'll unpack for you, so you'll have everything you need for your stay.

This compact 15 square metre space has, within its own private entrance, a small, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, a little double bedroom and an en-suite shower room.
