A homey, clean and comfortable bed and breakfast near the UNESCO-listed rockhewn churches in Lalibela, run by the Lezaw family who has long settled in the village and has long hospitality experience. The B&B is on the family compound and only has 9 rooms all with ensuites and balconies, some have views of the Asheton Maryam Monastery. You'll can access the whole compound and you will be warmly welcomed by the family, who also live on the compound. We can also arrange tours and trips for you.

My name is Abebe, I offer a simple one-room house with a double bed (the blue house). The house is placed on my spacious property in Lalibela. If you like to stay with locals and enjoy the beautiful view on the mountains, be welcome to stay with me and my family. Your stay will be local Ethiopian style: toilet (with mountain-view). And a European style toilet / shower-cabine. Breakfast is included. Lots of nice places to go out and have a meal close to the venue.

The Embassador Room is clean, safe, secure and very comfortable, even by Western standards. It has a wonderful queen-sized bed and we can even add a second bed for more guests. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has a delightful rain-style head with hot water. Enjoy two ensuite balconies that provide a stunning 180-degree panorama and make each morning a pleasure. The Embassador Room is cleaned every day, unless you prefer it not to be.
