You will spend one to two hours on the beach exploring rock pools. Foraging and harvesting in our natural environment. We only harvest seaweed and mollusks that are prolific in our area. It is important to harvest sustainably and we focus very much in this area. I show you a variety of edible seaweeds, mollusks and fynbos plants endemic to my area. Foods that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. We begin the experience on the beach, where I teach you all the local abundant edible algae, plants and seafood that is available. We spend time learning and exploring. From there we go back to the Creative Classroom where we utilize what we have found in a cullinary experience. There are foods which have been prepped in advance to save time and give you the ultimate experience. There is a host of experiences in a half a day, from harvesting, learning and eating.

On arrival at the winery, you will receive a welcoming and start the wine tasting to get your creative juices flowing. As you sip away and get inspired by the view of vineyards and mountains you will do a creative expression exercise followed by a step by step session of creating your own artwork in red wine. I tend to adapt my sessions and subject matter according to the interest and creative ability of the guest. This experience is perfect for a social group activity or intimate dates for couples. At the end of the session, you may take your artworks home as souvenirs. Want to do a hike in Stellenbosch, but not really sure where to go? Join me for a hike up Stellenbosch Mountain. We will start from Lanzerac Wine Estate, before heading across the hanging bridge and up into the mountain. You'll experience breathtaking views and see the landscape of Stellenbosch and the surrounds from a unique perspective. At the top we will enjoy some freshly roasted local coffee and rusks (a traditional South African breakfast snack), with views of Table Mountain. Afterwards we'll head back down the mountain to Lanzerac, a local wine estate where you can enjoy some pastries (the scones are to die for!), brunch or even do a wine tasting of some of the best wines that the region has to offer. This hike can be tailored to your specific fitness level - I want you to have a great time!

They will be given a historical visual talk that will guide them on an immersive coastal meander. They will indulge in delicious coastal local food over the day and learn about edible seaweed and fynbos along the journey. Join me (a biologist and history fanatic) on a walk back in time and see how humble farmland grew to become the tourism jewel it is today. On this walk, you'll visit some historical sites and hear stories, facts, and myths that are interwoven in the very spirit of Hermanus. Breathe in the fresh air and feel the ocean mist while taking in the amazing views of Voëlklip, Grotto Beach, and Gansbaai. During Whale season (June-November) you will be treated to a land-based whale-watching tour in one of the top whale-watching spots in the world and hear interesting facts about these majestic animals directly from a whale biologist. Remember to ask all your burning questions about these amazing animals. Note that they are wild animals and sightings are not guaranteed, but I will do my best! If you love history and nature this tour is for you. General Information The tour starts and ends in front of the Whale House museum. The duration of the tour is roughly 2 hours (could be longer if a lot of whales are seen in the bay), there are some stairs and hills on the way, so a moderate fitness level would be an advantage. Come experience a local haven & quiet getaway, completed with a dip in the ocean. Conveniently located near the centre of Hermanus, we will meet at Oskars Bakery in High Street. From here we will walk to the Marine Tidal Pool to relax and unwind with a easy flow yoga session, with views overlooking the beautiful Walker Bay. The class will start with a mini-meditation to decompress and find peace by quieting our minds, whereafter we will go straight over into a easy yoga flow for all levels. The 'class room' overlooks Walker Bay, where you can see whales frolicking in the ocean, feel the wind through your hair and the earth on your bare feet. Bring your swimming costume along and take a dip in the beautiful Indian ocean. There are bathroom facilities where you can change. The time has come to start celebrating ourselves, why not book a class and make time for self-love! Please bring your own yoga mat for hygiene purposes, if you do not own a mat you can rent one from me (please let me know in advance) Other things to note Please make sure you are dressed comfortably and are wearing shoes that are easy to slip off. Embark on an unforgettable running experience through the stunning Jonkershoek mountains in South Africa. Starting at the Coffee Roastery, we'll run at your pace along the southern valley, taking in breathtaking views of the Pieke and Katedraal peaks. After a 4km journey, we'll reach a refreshing stream for a swim and break. Recharged, we'll head back to the coffee roastery for a well-deserved, expertly brewed coffee by some of Stellenbosch's finest baristas. The run wil be between 7km and 12km depending on what you prefer

Join us for a hike in the Dwarsrivier Valley, starting from Old Bethlehem Where we will make our way on a 12km hike to Devil's Kloof. High chances of seeing the indigenous wildlife and learning about the use of some local fynbos species and enjoy roosterkoek and wine on the route.

Experience a Horse Riding tour in the Marloth Nature Reserve, advanced or novice riders are welcome. We meet at 08h30 in the morning at the stables for a 1&1/2 hour ride, we need the height and weight of riders with weight limit of 80kg. The ride takes us over the river and through the plantations and nature reserve. Spectacular views of the mountain and snug walks on soft forest floors. For experienced rider we do some lovely trots and canters and as we can go faster we manage to reach some higher ground to enjoy the view over the Village and surrounding fields. kiddies ride for children aged 5-10 at 15h30. we do a circular route for the little ones in the late afternoon. they go on a lead and their parents can join on the walk. make sure to wear good walking shoes.

We will be fly-fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout in what is known as the Cape Streams, beautiful crystal-clear waters that run in and around the Worcester / Paarl mountains. We use light tackle sight fishing for these beautiful wild trout on predominantly dry fly, and the thrill is always phenomenal! The environment and the river we will be in is stunningly picturesque. I document your day with loads of pictures and videos when you catch and then we release the fish back into the streams. This is a humbling experience yet filled with excitement. We’ll provide a light lunch and river snacks made with locally sourced and organic foods unique to South Africa.
