Cook with me, a professional Chef in my historic house. There’s no better way to understand a culture than in the kitchen, where the history of the city and the people collide on the stove. You will become part of the history of my family’s house, which has belonged to my family for about 7 generations, while learning how to cook the two most representative recipes of the Quiteño culture. One of them has been passed from my late grandfather and the other one from my grandmother. All the ingredients will be local and organic in order to support local commerce. You will be making canelazo, a beverage with little alcohol, and empanadas de viento, a fried dough filled with cheese, both from scratch. We will also be doing a chocolate tasting while waiting from everything to be ready. You will eat and drink what you have prepared surrounded by a fantastic fountain in a colonial house.

Hopefully we will see wild horses during the riding. Then we Will take the car to the 4700 meters to start a 1 hour hiking to the Shelter. Once up There we can take out our own box lunches and enjoy our submit. Then we will take the way down and return to Quito by 4:30 pm. Waterfalls, Swing and the magic of Baños
This day we will visit to a place away from Quito if you want to go outside to catch and delight from the magic of this little town called Baños. This trip would take at least 4 hours from Quito, we will make some stops to take some pictures of the landscape (Volcanoes Avenue) and hear about legends, story of the places. We will enjoy a good breakfast in case that you won't be able to take it before the trip (Please let us know). Once in Baños, our first place of visit will be the famous waterfall called Cauldron of Devil (Pailon del Diablo) were we hike the hanging bridges path and take beautiful pictures, the next point in the trip will be the Swing at the viewpoint of Tungurahua Volcano, and finally as optional, if you want some hours of relaxation on Luna Volcan Spa. After try and buy some typical candies of the artisans in the town our trip to come back to Quito will start. We will drop you off on your location. In the case that this would be your last day in Ecuador we can help drop you off directly at the airport, you will be able to bring your luggage with us (it would have an extra cost). Rucu Pichincha Hike
We will start picking up all the participants from their location (in case that is farther from the city we will find a meeting point). Once all the group is complete we will start with this experience. After buying your tickets in Teleferico we'll go up to the High station and then hike to Rucu Pichincha summit. Depending on your physical condition we will do some stops in specific places to take a breath. In one hour and a half, we will arrive at the Bear`s Cave and will prepare for the last hour of hike (drink water and eat something that give us energy). in all this hike, I going to show you different kinds of plants and animals that give a magical view of this volcano. Once we arrive at the rock basement of the mountain we will take another breath to start to walking to the summit. Here you would take some pictures and enjoy the solitude of the mountain and nature. This hike could be at least 3 or more hours to the top. and two hours returning to the cable car station. When we return to the first station of the Cable Car, we would find our transportation ready to go home. Other things to consider - If you are traveling alone, please let me know before you confirm your booking. - On Raining Season our goal will be the Bear`s Cave for safety of all the participants. - Cable car fees must be paid by participants including fees of the guide and coafitrion.

Ecuadorian Soccer Game Tour
We will meet at the usual meeting point at Tribuna de los Shyris Av. de los Shyris, next to Carolina Park) at least 1 hours before the start of the game, (time should depend on the game and the time available for it) then we will walk to the Olimpico Atahualpa stadium, we will watch a game of the “Liga Pro” or the Ecuadorian National Team, according to the calendar. During the game, we will include Beer. Historic tour and chocolate tasting in a Colonial house

Next, we will head over Calle de las 7 Cruces where the next stop will be my house in the historic district, which has belonged to my family for almost 300 years now. There a chocolate experience will be held while you explore a colonial house I’ll explain a lot of the gastronomy and the architecture od the city and tell you some of the stories that those walls have seen, and tell you a real horror story. Continue our tour to Plaza Grande (Freedom Square) you will get facts about how revolution came to Latin America. You will be in the Colonial city center and be able to understand more of the Spanish architectural influence. Tales about romance, life lessons and even former president gossip will be told. Our final stop will be La Compañía or The Golden Church as as it’s also known. There you will be in front of miracles and a astonishing experience of art in every form.
Papallacta Hot Springs and River Trail
Papallacta Hot Springs, a paradisiacal place, where you will live a relaxing and unparalleled experience. (Ask for special discounts if you are more than 1 person) We will leave Quito towards Papallacta, in a journey of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Rucu Pichincha Hike
We will start picking up all the participants from their location (in case that is farther from the city we will find a meeting point). Once all the group is complete we will start with this experience. After buying your tickets in Teleferico we'll go up to the High station and then hike to Rucu Pichincha summit. Depending on your physical condition we will do some stops in specific places to take a breath. In one hour and a half, we will arrive at the Bear`s Cave and will prepare for the last hour of hike (drink water and eat something that give us energy). in all this hike, I going to show you different kinds of plants and animals that give a magical view of this volcano. Once we arrive at the rock basement of the mountain we will take another breath to start to walking to the summit. Here you would take some pictures and enjoy the solitude of the mountain and nature. This hike could be at least 3 or more hours to the top. and two hours returning to the cable car station. When we return to the first station of the Cable Car, we would find our transportation ready to go home. Other things to consider - If you are traveling alone, please let me know before you confirm your booking. - On Raining Season our goal will be the Bear`s Cave for safety of all the participants. - Cable car fees must be paid by participants including fees of the guide and coafitrion.
