Tucked away in the Ozark Mountains, is your home away from home. Oak Mountain Cabin is warm and inviting, located just north of the Buffalo National River. If you're looking to get away and explore the Ozarks, then it can't get much better than this!

Oak Mountain Cabin is a semi secluded 1000 square foot space, perfect for a family on vacation or a romantic getaway. Located only 4 miles away from the beautiful Buffalo River and 8 miles from Harrison. This space can sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. There is a queen bed in the loft, pull-out couch with a full mattress, built in twin bed, and a cot.

There is a full kitchen including a refrigerator, electric stove, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchen has everything you may need - plates, cups, mugs, wine glasses, silverware, cook ware, and utensils. There is also a dining table that seats four and a charcoal grill on the large front deck.

After your exciting day of exploring the Ozarks, you can look forward to the large swimming pool and spa. Pool and hot tub are closed during the Winter (Late October/November - February) but will open in March each year. The fireplace makes its easy to cozy up with a glass of wine and fully relax. If you're on a motorcycle, you'll enjoy the garage under the cabin to get your ride out of the weather.

The Ozarks are well known for the amazing views, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing/kayaking, and of course, cruising the winding roads on motorcycles. We have many guide books in the cabin that you can borrow, including hiking trails, beautiful waterfalls, and the latest rock climbing guide book.

Also worth mentioning, our cabin is pet friendly(with a $25 pet fee)! We love our two dogs and consider them family. Because of that, we wanted our place to allow pets. Affording our guests to travel with their pets. All we ask is that your pet is house trained and you keep them off the furniture. It is also a good idea to bring a kennel if you plan to leave them at the cabin. We Charge a $20 pet fee for our cleaners.

We try our best to keep the pool and hot tub open as long as possible, depending on the weather. Opening them in March and both will be closed in late October!

Our home is on the other side of the pool. The pool is completely private and will only be used by guests during their stay!

Note: Please DO NOT heat the pool. It requires using all 250 gallons of propane to heat 10,000 gallons and there will be a $300 charge to refill the propane tank.

The cabin is on a short dirt road, and is very quiet and semi secluded. As I have stated before we live close to the cabin, but you have 100% privacy.

I am a full time Fire Fighter for the City of Harrison and Kylie is the owner of Next Step Dance Studio in Harrison. We love living in Arkansas! It has so much to offer, beautiful scenic views and water falls, very friendly people, and a relaxed culture, makes Arkansas a great place to live or vacation.

When we are not busy with work, our passion for the outdoors takes up the rest of our time. Our main hobby is rock climbing the amazing Arkansas sandstone. We also enjoy the great hiking and kayaking of the Buffalo River. We also enjoy spending time with our family, two dogs and cat.

Rock climbing brings us closer as couple and gives us a reason to travel to some amazing places that normal people on vacation don't usually go too. There is nothing better for us to mix our love of travel with our passion for climbing.

Hosting people in our cabin has been a new experience for us, but it has been fun sharing our property and sharing our knowledge for the area. We like for our guests to leave feeling that they have had a once in a life time experience, made memories that will last forever, and excited to return to Arkansas.
