Simple, refined space in an 1860's updated Greek revival. Located in Bath, Maine's “Cool Little City", on the banks of the Kennebec River. Very safe neighborhood. Walk to restaurants, the riverfront, entertainment, Maine Maritime Museum, local library and YMCA. A trolley tour through town is available daily.

Popham Beach and Reid State park beach are just down the peninisula. We provide a vehicle State Park pass which may be used for day use everywhere in the state.

This apartment is located on the second floor, with a first floor private entrance and entry hall. At the top of the stairs is a laundry room and full bath with shower. The open plan kitchen/living area is just around the corner and includes an out-of-the-way desk and office chair. A separate bedroom with walk-in dressing room finishes out the space. The south wall has 3 classic double hung windows which let in wonderful light throughout the whole of the space.
WiFi is available throughout the apartment as well as on your private porch and garden area.

The neighborhood is a very friendly, safe place.
Stroll around the neighboring Historic Distict and checkout the 19th century ship captain’s homes. The Bath YMCA is a 3 minute walk. Hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed from there as well as many other locations in town. In the winter the trails are all great for snowshoeing and XC skiing.

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is 30 minutes up the coast in Boothbay and has world-class gardens as well as the December ‘Gardens Aglow’ event during the last 6 weeks of the year.

Bowdoin College is 12 minutes away in Brunswick.

Popham Beach is twenty minutes. Go at low tide and walk to the islands off shore. Swim and fish in the warm weather or Fat Tire ride and jog in the winter.

LL Bean in Freeport is 20 minutes away and a year round destination with summer concerts and a winter ‘Sparkle’ event in December.

Maggie and I have been living in Bath, Maine for about thirty-five years now. We moved here from Cape Cod and we have fallen in love with our adopted state.
We have paddled, hiked and explored many parts of the state in winter and summer and we are always amazed at the diversity and beauty it has to offer.
I am a wood and metal craftsman and work on architectural and sculptural projects as well as wooden boats.
As a gardener and gatherer, we grow or forage a lot of our vegetables and fungi. Mountain biking, hiking, paddle sports and volleyball are my current summer activities. Surfcasting takes up the rest of my free time.
I serve as a volunteer on the Bath Forestry Committee which enables me to give back in the form of planting and caring for the trees and urban forests of Bath. Having worked with wood products all my career, it is a good way to contribute to the resource I admire so very much.
