Our cottage is 100 meters away from our lodge, so you can enjoy the social side of the lodge activities or enjoy your privacy. The cottage is modern and cosy with a lovely view out over the sea. We have equipment for kayaking, biking, fishing, SUP's which are available for a small charge. A beautiful, peaceful, natural environment surrounded by native bush and sea.

Indawo
We are in the Kenepuru Sound in the Marlborough Sounds, a stunning area of NZ. Surrounded by bush and sea you will love the peace and quiet away from the maddening crowds. The cottage is set to one side of our property, 100 meters away from our lodge. You can enjoy all the facilities the lodge has to offer, kayaks, bikes, fishing boats and gear, SUP's and sailing. You are welcome to use the hot spa pool and large guest lounge area. There are hammocks and a lovely pebble swimming beach. We also have a loop track and a farm walk and are close to the Queen Charlotte Track or join the Pelorus Mail Boat. We offer homemade bread, pizzas, and the best coffee!

The Kenepuru Sound is very beautiful, so green and surrounded by turquoise waters. Shellfish grow here and you can collect oysters, cockles and mussels right from the shore around us. You can join Mike and visit a mussel farm. There are many native birds, weka, tui and bellbirds just to name a few. We have free-range chickens providing fresh eggs. In the bay next to us (1km) is a wonderful fully licensed restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Wonderful to explore by bike or kayak and you might get lucky and see some dolphins or orca.

Mike and I have lived in the Marlborough Sounds for over 20 years. We love the lifestyle and our environment and have raised our four daughters here. I enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, fishing and gardening and Mike loves flying, his sheep and chickens and his guitar, plus he is a real projects man. We are both foodies and cooking is one of our passions, especially with the wonderful fresh seafood and produce around us.
We consider ourselves to be friendly, down to earth and always happy to help.
