Large, spacious bedrooms. Separate dining next to kitchen. 3 eating areas, including breakfast nook in the glassed-in sun porch. House is very clean and used only and specifically for travelers. The yards are beautifully landscaped. The 1/2 acre corner property provides a 200 yr old oak tree shading a picnic table. The huge backyard provides a fire pit with adirondack chairs, a charcoal grill and ample driveway parking with garage. Member of Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce. This house is within walking distance of shopping, cafe, bank, post office and 1/2 mile from gas, convenience, and more cafes.

It is halfway between Austin and Houston, just off of Hwy. 290, and only 10 minutes east of Brenham, TX.. Brenham's downtown area is also a great place to spend the day. Also, if you have time, drive 45 minutes to Navasota, TX and check out the progress going on. Shops, eats, antiques, etc.

This private home is located on the corner, on a half-acre lot with a 200-yr-old oak in the front yard and shade trees in the back. There is an empty, well groomed lot next door, which adds to the feel of spacious privacy. If you are into wildlife, deer usually walk through the backyard at dawn and dusk and are fun to watch from the sunporch while having your morning coffee. The home was purchased and renovated for guest use only, therefore there is no clutter of others' belongings. This home has everything you would need for a great travel experience, including towels, robes, great linens, dishes, pots and pans, stainless appliances, and coffee station. Emily’s Post is roomy, functional, well-stocked and crispy clean.
Although you can certainly drive, taking a walk through town is encouraged. Quaint women’s and gift shops and restaurants, our 100+ year-old bank, a pub, the Masonic cemetery, Texas Star Winery, Chappell Hill Museum, all within walking distance. Also much more to see.
