A light bright, no frills, single story detached property situated in the grounds of the owners home, with vehicle parking The property consists of; a fully equipped kitchenette /lounge, with a mini oven/microwave, 4 ring hob, fridge/freezer, breakfast bar, stools and folding bed setee. The double bedroom with adjoining shower room, handbasin and WC. All rooms have heating
The garden furniture allows guests to dine outside.
Beds will be made up for your stay and towels are provided.

The Studio in the Garden is located on the edge of the small rural village of Villardonnel, which is situated on the lower slopes of the Black Mountain. The world heritage centre of 'La Cite' located at Carcassonne, is 30 minutes drive away, as is Carcassonne Airport, served by Ryanair from a number of UK and European airports. With budget flights, this makes a great value stay in a beautiful location a real prospect. The village offers many beautiful walks and views of the Pyrenees. it is a fabulous location for walkers and cyclist with stages of the Tour de France never far away in the 3 weeks of July. With Spain and the Mediterranean coast just 2 hours away. Local lakes also offer swimming, boating, crazy golf, high rope walks and numerous other activities, you will never be short of a locations to visit of something to do.

Villardonnel is a small rural village that has its own charm and friendly inhabitants. There are numerous local events here and in other nearby villages in the area. Plenty of good walks, the Canal du Midi and La Cite the Medieval Town of Carcassonne all within easy travelling.
The airport at Carcassonne is served by a number of UK and European city's, with low cost travel by Ryanair. Located on the slopes the Montagne Noir spectacular views of the Pyrenees and star filled night sky are often seen.
