Lovely, newly refurbished private guest apartment with it's own entrance. The apartment is a part of the lower level of my home but sectioned off therefore no shared indoor spaces for guests. The area is cosy and bright and my house is set in a quiet area near town (5 to 10 minute walk), with established gardens for a relaxing stay.
Kitchenette only with toaster, coffee maker, kettle and mini fridge.
Note, there is no cooker or oven/stove.
My dog Curly is also available for cuddles!
Please note that we are on a hill, not difficult for most people of average fitness, but if you are someone who drives everywhere, you can drive down town in a minute.
Compass Hill is an area of lovely green spaces, with property selling at a premium due to its pretty, peaceful placement, but also close to town. It is considered to be one of the best address areas in the town precinct.

The house and property is set in lovely mature gardens right near the Compass Hill scenic walk. It is a quiet peaceful area with the bonus of being a short walk (5 to 10 mins) to town. We have plenty of parking in the quiet laneway, which is a bonus as Kinsale has very narrow streets in the historic part of the town. You can walk downhill to town in a few minutes or drive if you wish. I chose my home for its quiet location close to town so please make sure you are happy with its location before booking. Kinsale is a historic town with very narrow streets, so most larger homes like mine are hard to come by within walking distance of town.

If you are easy going and friendly, and would like a nice place to stay close to town, my home is perfect. I strive to accommodate my guests as my reviews show. I have enjoyed meeting so many people from around the world, and even met my best friend via airbnb when she stayed with Curly, my pup and I. With hundreds of stays under my belt, I have had very positive experiences- I take your safety and comfort seriously, therefore consider it my duty to maintain a positive, happy environment for everyone. Kinsale is such a special, lovely town, which is why I chose to settle here. From my first trip here fourteen years ago, It placed as the best town in Ireland, in my opinion! Whether food, scenery or shopping is your thing, Kinsale offers it all for a small town.
