Located in a quiet and friendly village, this fully furnished house will accommodate guests who wish to avoid the crowd of tourists. It is a few hundred yards from several beaches notable for their impressive cliffs.
I've fitted the house with a wi-fi modem, with free access. The main bedroom has air-conditioning.
Please note that guests will pay for the electricity they consume.

Indawo
The house includes a veranda, a spacious living-room, two bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with hot water. It is surrounded by a flowery yard, where cars can easily be parked and children play.
In April 2017 I fitted the main bedroom with air conditioning.
The house is a few hundred yards from the (small) shops and the local market.

My family has lived in Popenguine for several generations, and I know almost everyone there; it's in the usual, warm and friendly run of things to greet and be greeted at every step in the streets, which will also happen to you, even though you've only just arrived!
So you may feel you're very far from home, and yet feel that you're not a stranger.
In fact a number of European or North American pensioners have chosen to settle in Popenguine.

Après avoir travaillé à Dakar pour une famille française, j'ai fait construire cette maison avec mes économies. Les plans et la construction ont été réalisés par mon oncle, entrepreneur du bâtiment.

I'll be glad to welcome you personally and help you explore the region.
Right in the village, there are several restaurants, serving local and Western food. Several of them are particularly pleasant, because they open onto the beach.
But whenever you wish to eat home, meals can be provided at an additional cost. An easy and great way to enjoy home-made Senegalese dishes and delicacies ( I'm known to be a very good cook!).
A laundry service can be organized as well.
