Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom

Most visitors to Bradley are struck by a sense of quietness which belies its proximity to the pretty Georgian market town of Ashbourne just 3.5 miles away and Derby city less than 12 miles away.
This area is known as the "White Peak" part of the Peak District National Park due to the spectacular white limestone scenery to be found in the surrounding Derbyshire Dales - such as Dove Dale & Lathkill Dale. With hundreds of miles of bridle ways & cycle tracks such as the Tissington, High Peak & Monsal Trails, rambling on local footpaths directly from the Hayloft - or a short drive to more challenging scrambles this area is ideal for ramblers and cyclists. There is also sailing, fishing, climbing, horse-riding, field sports - pretty much every outdoor pursuit you can think of available in this area. With alternative entertainment offered by some of the country's foremost attractions - Alton Towers, Gullivers' Kingdom, most spectacular stately homes - Chatsworth House, Haddon, Kedleston, & Tissington Halls, picturesque market towns such as Ashbourne, Bakewell & Buxton, numerous festivals, wakes and performing arts offering entertainment throughout the year. It is the extraordinary combination of spectacular scenery, variety of attractions and things to do, concentrated into a relatively small area that make the Peak District unique.
