From Hiroshima Station, 3min bus ride + 2min walk to my place.

Located in the center of Hiroshima. Easy access to most major attractions: Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, Art museums, Shukkeien (beautiful Japanese garden), Miyajima and Hondori Shopping Arcade.

1 block/60meters to World famous Peace Boulevard. 500m/6min walk to the large shopping mall, you can get anything: food, clothes, shoes, glasses, books, etc. The mall also includes a large food court, restaurants, and a gym with a pool.

You will be surprised to know the location is super once you have checked in. There are so many eating places around the apartment that it might take a little while to decide where to eat.

I’m Yoshiyuki. I was in the US when I was a college student. Oh, many years ago. I lived in a small town called Berkeley, which is near San Francisco, California. I like driving, especially travelling by car. During the vacation I sometimes drove between New York and California. I drove around North America: almost all the states in the US and Canada except Alaska and a few, which I plan to visit after retirement. I was thinking of driving from Seattle to Alaska to see the Northern Lights. My car was a sedan then and did not carry an extra gas tank and water, which made me give up the trip. Also, I drove around Europe. Usually, I flew to London and rented a car to cross Strait of Dover by ferry or through tunnel. Once I reached Calais, France, I drove to anywhere I wanted to. My dream is to drive from Calais to Shanghai, China across Eurasian continent to get to the Port of Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. I would like to talk about the places I visited. Let’s start by Berkeley. It was early 90s when Clinton was President and economy was good. I had no cell phone and was using a PC with Windows 3.0 before Windows 95 appeared on the earth. I had a car, but did not use it very much. Usually I walked to anywhere from school to Safeway, a post office, a bank to DMV which was a little far. Actually I was just getting around near my apartment during a semester. I would often go to a café called Espresso Roma on College Ave. near my house. Of course, I sometimes went to Café Strada near college too. See you soon.
