This Coyote Run house is one of just sixteen detached homes in the most exclusive high end development around Moab's golf course, along the south side of the 9th fairway. There is no better place to return home to than our peaceful, secluded refuge, where you can kick back and enjoy a soak in the privacy of your very own hot tub.

Indawo
Our 'Seventh Heaven' is a spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath, detached ranch style home, with a loft area the size of a third bedroom. It is luxuriously furnished and well appointed with all the modern conveniences. There is a spacious two car garage, and a bit of a driveway, but no curbside parking in our quiet little cul de sac. (However, there is room to park larger vehicles and trailers along East Bench Rd next to us.) A large fenced patio wraps around one side and back of the house with picnic table, barbq grill and hot tub. The common areas are roomy, the dining table seats eight. We don't have a swimming pool, but the private hot tub on our back patio can be enjoyed in the peace and quiet of your own space, any time of year. This VERY nice hot tub has jets that will pummel you in ways you never imagined. We can turn the temperature down closer to pool temps in the summer if you like, so you can enjoy it as a cold plunge. No swimming pool, but Moab recently completed an Aquatic Center in the middle of town, and there are watering holes in nearby Mill Creek, and then there's Ken's Lake.

The downstairs at Seventh Heaven has a queen bedroom with private bathroom (tub AND shower stall) with his and hers sinks, and a half bath (powder room) for everyone to use during the day. Upstairs has a large bedroom with a queen bed at one end and a convertible daybed (turns into two twins or one king) at the other, and another full bathroom (walk-in shower) with his and hers sinks. That bathroom has another door opening into the loft area, so if a third couple is using the sofa bed in the loft, you'll have to share that upstairs bathroom. Two couples are the ideal numbers, if your budget allows, but the house is roomy enough and laid out in a way that sleeps six with privacy for all. With kids in the mix, and using the daybed in the upstairs bedroom, there are beds enough to sleep a maximum of eight.

The loft is above the kitchen and dining room area and overlooks the living room (with it’s vaulted ceiling), and has a small private balcony. It is private and very like a third bedroom, located apart from the bedrooms on the other end of the house. It has a pull-out sofa bed with an extra a 2” memory foam pad for extra comfort). This house is quite accommodatingly large. There is a third bathroom as well,.. a downstairs bathroom/powder room with sink and toilet.

Ukungena kwesivakashi
We are 4 miles south of town on the EAST side of the valley, away from the hubbub in town, and in an area that is markedly different from everything near the noisy, commercial, highway corridor on the WEST side of the valley. You can take the dog for a walk on our country lane, or walk through the gate on our back patio and skirt the edge of the golf course to walk up into the red rock wilderness above us. The more adventurous can scramble on into the rimrock and access 'Johnson's Up On Top' mesa. Access to Steel Bender Trail and Mill Creek Canyon are just up the road through the neighborhood on the other side of the golf course,.. so our little part of the valley is as close as you can get to the magic you come here for, and one of the only places you can simply walk into it a step at a time. Coyote Run shares this East Bench neighborhood with a handful of homes and ranches that have been here for generations. Have a look at the photos, I included a bunch of the neighborhood and nearby walks.

Ezinye izinto okumele ziqashelwe
We have a FOUR night minimum for Memorial weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. There is a seven night minimum for Easter Jeep Safari. There is a two night minimum for the rest of the year. You are welcome to stay for just two nights, but we will require an additional $100 cleaning fee. Cleaning is included in the cost for a stay of three or more nights.

We are pet friendly! We will allow up to 2 dogs at $15/night per each, but we are assiduously clean, we will need to know about the dogs, and airbnb does not factor in the pet fee, so we will have to adjust pricing accordingly.

If you need more than one Coyote Run house for your family/friends gathering, we also rent the house next door. Here is the link to the listing... https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22291794

Please remember there is NO SMOKING in the house!

Have a look at the photographs of our immediate neighborhood and the nearby walks, there are quite a few of them, and I expect to be adding more in the months to come. We have a truly fabulous location away from the noise and chaos of town and highway, but only a few minutes drive to town. WALK out your door, and into our East Bench neighborhood. South on East Bench Rd will take you past ranches on one side with horses and other domesticated animals,.. and undeveloped land on the other with all manner of beasts making frequent appearances. Wild turkeys, hawks and lots of other birds, coyotes, fox, a neighborhood bobcat, deer and a variety of small mammals, and lately, the first Roadrunner we’ve ever seen.

Step through the fence in back to access a service road and skirt the edge of the golf course to walk up into the red rock fins above us. The more adventurous can scramble on into the rimrock and access 'Johnson's Up On Top' mesa.

Take the car around the club house and back to the roundabout and up Westwater Drive around the other side of the golf course. The road goes past petroglyphs, and along the east side of the golf course into the redrocks of the Mill Creek Rim, and access to Steel Bender Trail and Mill Creek Canyon.

I urge people to get out into the "back of beyond”, but if you don’t have the time to disappear into a forgotten canyon with backpack and MRE’s, we have all the comforts of home, but where you can literally walk out your door, up the road, and into a place and a time out of mind. Steelbender trailhead is up the road on the other side of the golf course, where it switchbacks down into Mill Creek Canyon. Mill Creek Canyon is extraordinary. Ancient civilizations to present day inhabitants of the area have enjoyed it's many remarkable features. Stunning Geology, water year round in this riparian canyon, flora and fauna in abundance,.. and shamanic art grace it's canyon walls.

Phakathi nokuhlala kwakho
I have explored this region since graduating college in 1976. I was drawn to this place, as were so very many other like minded individuals, and moved to Moab with my Lisa in 1997, where we have come to love this community and cherish the diversity and generations of others who have settled these lands for hundreds and thousands of years. We lived in our first Castillo townhouse (on the other side of the golf course) for ten years, during the last six of which we were building our own pueblo style home (by ourselves) a mile away as the crow flies. We manage the rental of our own and six other Castillo townhouses belonging to our friends and neighbors, a Solano 2BR townhouse in the project next door, and two Coyote Run houses. Here is a link to all of our listings… https://www.airbnb.com/users/136977868/listings We care about all of these properties as if they were our own, and we want everyone to come out winners, including our guests. We have been doing this for ten years through other listing services, and all our guests have provided consistently "5 star" reviews.
Providing excellent accommodations and great value for our guests from around the world and for our Utah and Colorado neighbors who come often, has been the best part of this vacation rental business we've been doing. We really do try to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, nicely appointed and well-supplied home to stay in and enjoy while you are here exploring our amazing public lands. We like it to be as worry free as your all too brief and well-deserved vacation can be,.. and we encourage you to communicate with us for any reason. Feel free to ask about anything. We're happy to help, and if we don't have an answer, we usually know someone who does. Hope you have a wonderful visit, Rob and Lisa
