This independant guesthouse, part of a traditional farmhouse in the Périgord, includes a large living area + open kitchen, shower room and a mezzanine bedroom.

The property includes a pool, sunny courtyard, barbecues, large garden with games (shared with one other studio and us, your hosts).

Upon arrival you'll discover the 2 hectare domain covered in trees, flowers, rose bushes and various tables, chairs, benches, reading corners, sunbeds, hamacks, etc. At the entrance of the large courtyard you'll find your holiday home on a large area of terrasse for eating outdoors.

As you come in, on the ground floor you'll find a fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machines (Nespresso and cafetière), kettle, and all other cooking essentials including many accessories), leading to a central dining table, and a large sofa that can pull out to make a really comfortable king-sized double bed (160 cm), and a reading corner with an armchair, television, DVD, radio... There is also a shower room with toilet.

On the mezzanine level, there is a large double bed (160 cm) for a comfortable night's sleep, drawers and hanging space for your clothes and a dressing table.

Bedding and bath towels are included, but don't forget your beach towels for the pool!

The property is located in a rural area, surrounded by fields and woodland. The location is very peaceful and there are many beautiful places to walk/hike, but the closest restaurants within walking distance is about 25 minutes away, so we strongly recommend that you bring a car! Contact us for tips about local rentals.

Just 5 minutes drive away is the charming village of Siorac-de-Ribérac, where you can visit the 12th century church, and the restaurant Le Lavoir which serves delicious lunch and dinner.

10 minutes drive brings you to Ribérac, where you will find a wide range of shops and supermarkets, many more restaurants, the not-to-be-missed Friday morning market, and many other activities (cinema, canoeing/kayaking, tennis, hikes etc). In summer there are also outdoor concerts, film screenings and night markets.

At just 12 minutes drive from the property is the lake of la Jemaye which is a perfect place for a day trip with sandy beaches, lifeguard supervised swimming, picnic areas, a children's playground, walks around the lake, watersports, a fitness trail, snack bars, restaurants and more!

We would be delighted to share our knowledge of local places to visit, the best restaurants to eat at, and fun activities in the area. We can also give you a tour of our own on-site activities: a micro-brewery, the design of recycled jewellery and other objects, and creative workshops! Or just let you enjoy your quiet time, of course.
