The Mahana is a quiet resort and Unit 802 is high above the palm trees, for an unobstructed Ocean view overlooking neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai. Perfect for whale watching or relaxing on the daybed on the lanai.

New luxury vinyl flooring throughout, fresh paint, and new drapery with black out lining for a restful sleep. It is also stocked with everything our guests will need for a great vacation, including beach chairs, umbrella, luxurious linens, L'Occitane soaps and shampoos.

The Mahana is an Oceanfront condo resort on the northern end of Kaanapali Beach, with an authentic Old Hawaiian feel and mature landscaping. The tree canopy along the entrance to The Mahana gives it a romantic and relaxing ambiance. It is 50 feet from the Ocean and all condos have private glass balconies, allowing for amazing views of Lanai and Molokai. The location on Kaanapali Beach is perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling, or just relaxing at the pool. There is a scenic beach walk that takes you to Black Rock and Whaler's Village. We don't have a restaurant at The Mahana, but Duke's is next door at Honua Kai and there is a great selection of restaurants a short walk away, as well as Times Market and Farmer's Market.

Perfect location on the quiet northern end of Kaanapali Beach. Great snorkeling in front of the resort on the sandy beach. The Times Market is less than 1/4 mile away on Honoapiilani Highway, in a strip mall with other restaurants and coffee shops. There are other Farmer's Markets close by. There is a beachfront path that starts to the south of The Mahana and goes two miles, to the Hyatt. It will pass through Black Rock, the Sheraton, and Whaler's Village.

My wife, Kristine, and I live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta with our four kids, ages 8, 12, 14, and 18. We are very fortunate that the kids enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures. I enjoy cooking, so our travels revolve around food and how I can be a better cook at home. Since our family is so big, we always rent condos or apartments for more space, a kitchen, and a sense that we are living in the city and not just tourists.
