Indawo
Welcome to Peak Glamping Hideaway, Our small glamping site in a rural part of the Peak District National Park. Comprising a pair of family-sized Mongolian yurts along with a romantic shepherds hut for two, the glamping accommodation is sited in a spacious open meadow enclosed by drystone walls. Spin 360 and the views in any direction are incredible, with big skies and lush rolling hills all around. High up in the Peaks, there's a real roof-of-the-world feel, too, making this a retreat in the truest sense. Although secluded, there's nothing primitive about the accommodation. Boasting a proper king-sized bed, the yurts include a trio of comfy futons for extra guests. Luxury touches such as Egyptian cotton, feather down duvets, sheepskin rugs, and that all-important wood-burning stove come as standard make this the ideal retreat.
The Harvest Moon Yurt is tucked in a field with unrivalled views of the Peak District Dove Valley, relax outside your yurt and you can have a BBQ whilst listening to birdsong and the crackle of the stove.

Ukungena kwesivakashi
Guests have access to the glamping field, the Harvest Moon Yurt and the luxury ‘Sheep fold’ facilities building.

After been given a new lease of life the shared facilities building now boasts 2 large showers, a glorious roll top bath and traditional high level toilets whilst soft luxury Egyptian cotton towels, LED lit mirrors and local Peak District soaps and toiletries really put the 'Glamping' into Camping.
There are 3 separate rooms; two offering a large shower, a unique handmade oak tree trunk hand basin and high level flushing toilets, while the other offers a large free standing roll top bath, handbasin and toilet.
Complimentary hairdryer and straighteners are also provided.

We also have an integral communal living area where you have all the amenities to whip up a hearty breakfast in our rustic style kitchen. A gas oven with a four ring hob, microwave, toaster, Belfast sink and American fridge freezer all surround a gorgeous stone worktop. Large double French doors make the area an spacious sunlit haven to gather together, cooking, eating or simply relaxing with a glass in hand. Free Wifi is also available in this space for your convenience.

The veranda is certainly not an area to be dismissed, this gorgeous seating area boasts stunning views right across the Dove Valley.

Please note the remote location means that sometimes the WiFi may be slower than usual.

Buxton, England, i-United Kingdom

We are surrounded by gorgeous countryside in a wonderfully peaceful location down a quiet country lane, yet only a mile from Flash, the highest village in England, where there is an excellent cafe, village store, and the popular Knight’s Table Pub.

The neighbouring villages of Flash and Quarnford are good for picking up the basics, but many guests prefer to get most of their supplies at Buxton, just five miles from the farmhouse. The Romans called the spa town Aquae Arnemetiae and built a shrine and baths on what is now the Crescent Hotel. Wealthy Georgians and Victorians all visited Buxton to “take the waters”, and a spa day remains the perfect way to treat yourself today. It is a fantastic town for shopping and dining, and several way-marked walking trails around Buxton show off its history and stunning architecture.

Bakewell is a little more low-key than Buxton but no less beautiful. Independent retailers, restaurants and cafes fill quirky period buildings that date back, in some cases, to the late 1500s. There is a regular weekly market with more than 100 stalls every Monday, and a farmers’ market on the last Saturday of the month. Jane Austen stayed at the Rutland Arms Hotel and is believed to have used Bakewell and nearby Chatsworth House as inspiration for the setting of Pride and Prejudice.

The Peak District can be explored overground on the Monsal Trail and Tissington Trail, by going up Mam Tor or walking over the Dovedale stepping stones, and underground at Poole’s Cavern and Treak Cliff Cavern. Drink in the serene countryside views of The Roaches, or admire the geological formations at Kinder Scout and Stanage Edge. Visit Eyam village and the Lumsdale Valley, or take a ride on the historic Ecclesbourne Valley Railway or the Heights of Abraham cable car in Matlock Bath.
