River Bush View is located in the heart of the village of Bushmills, situated on the banks of the River Bush. Shops/ Bars and Restauraunts right outside. We are minutes away from The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle & Ballintoy Harbour (Game of Thrones ) and Bushmills Distillery just outside the front door. Our neighbours are the 2 herons that sit on the bank opposite and we regularly hear the otters in the evening and watch them play at the waterfall early mornings.

Our loft space has been tastefully decorated to make our guests feel welcome and at home ( the Loft has a pitched roof so there is a height restriction in certain areas so not really suitable for tall people) The 4 windows with views over the river make the room very light and airy. We are right in heart of the town with all its shops, hotels and restaurants . Also direct access to all the fantastic coastal walks and to explore the Causeway Coast. Several championship golf courses minutes away. For your comfort and relaxation in your private room we have supplied plates, wine glasses, candles, condiments etc and your very welcome to bring in food/drinks from any of the local stores as there is a small fridge in your room. Bathrobes are available for your shower, we supply all toiletries and a hairdryer/straightener. We have also just added Netflix to the TV in your room and there is an Alexa soundock for music etc. You are very welcome to use the patio for drinks or fish and chips !

We are minutes away from The Giants Causeway, Carrick -A-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle & Ballintoy Harbour ( Game of Thrones filmed ) Bushmills Distillery ( well worth a visit ) jkust outside the front door. Several fiantastic golf courses within minutes Royal Portrush ( hosting The Open 2019 ) Portstewart ( hosted Irish Open 2017) Castlerock & Ballycastle to name a few. For a more casual game Bushfoot Golf Club just around the corner is a great 9 hole course with spectacular views over Runkerry Beach the Bar/Restauraunt is open to non members.

We are a fun and sociable couple who moved up to the Causeway Coast several years ago and have never looked back. We love it! I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for years and am currently working in Portstewart for a holiday lettings company. We live with our two springer spaniels called Ollie & Lilli (our kids) and we adore them. I love cooking, walking, interior design, playing golf, exploring new places, eating in or eating out (my husband hates cooking!!). Nothing I like better than having friends for dinner, good company, good food and good wine. I love all sorts of music (my husband is tortured by Billie Holiday & Dolly Parton) and Hugh plays bass guitar and harmonica in a blues band. He also lived in France for several years so speaks very good French. He is also a rugby fanatic and was a referee for Ulster Rugby a few years back. We live a fun life, always enjoying each other's company and having friends around. My motto is ' life is for living' and we do our best.

We also have a good knowledge of great coastal walks and can recommend several fantastic restaurants. We also know Ireland very well and can recommend great places to visit. Tartine Restaurant is just across the road they do a fantastic early bird menu be advised to book in advance. We can also highly recommend The Bushmills Inn for dinner /drinks you wont be disappointed.
