Any comments about security and someone in the basement are about the maintenance area which is off limits to guests And necessary for Any repairs to Plumbing , AC and furnace. Guests DO have the whole log cabin , which consists of 2 floors, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining and great rooms Including fireplaces In the great room And master bedroom, TVs in all rooms and a Jacuzzi Tub. Comments about Maintenance person and security Came from guests That tried to cheat and have big parties by bringing in 1 case, 30 Plus cars and 50 people Not registered or booked. Obviously non paying parties would not be allowed In any Hotel or Bed and breakfast And The one "person looking at a window" Comment Was actually a disgruntled Non registered Person in the guests own Party And was run off by security. There is ample parking on the circle in front of the log cabin and cars are limited to registered guests. Hundreds of guests that obey the rules have only good comments. If you read any, make sure you read them all! There was one comment about locks. The front door has a combination lock that will be given if asked. All the French doors have a Floor and ceiling deadbolts , that obviously the guest unlocked And then Left Unbolted while trying to lock with the door handle and door handle Position bolt only. All doors are totally secure when locked properly. Host is completely Accessible and can answer any questions like these by phone quickly Or show how to take care of something in person If necessary.
