Stay in a rare little piece of Glenelg history. Built in 1876, this two storey bluestone heritage house was originally home of H.D Gell, Mayor of Glenelg. Perfect for singles or couples, this cosy balcony room with double wrought iron bed has recently been restored to some of it's former glory, and styled with a mixture of original and modern furnishings. We now have FREE WIFI!

The property is located on Sussex Street just 300 metres off the main stretch, so you can walk to everything you will need during your stay. There is also a large reserve just 250 metres away. Although this end of Sussex street is relatively quiet, Glenelg can get quite busy at certain times, particularly during the summer months. So there can be some noise at times from pedestrians walking back at night or when events have been on in the surrounding areas. A small trade off for staying in the thick of it, but generally speaking, it's cosy and quiet the majority of the time.
