G'day!
When not sleeping in a tent or staying with friends, we love renting Airbnbs as travel accommodations. Fall 2018 I started hosting and now enjoy both sides of the Airbnb experience.
Favorite family trips include: bike touring/camping along the California’s Avenue of the Giants; my son's first international trip (Tulum, Mexico at 3yo); collecting sea glass and memories on the Oregon Coast, rafting our local rivers and SUPing our local lakes; swimming with manatees in Florida, backpacking with llamas in Goat Rocks Wilderness; snowshoeing in search of the perfect Christmas tree; and sampling food-truck fare with friends in Austin, Texas.
Whatever is next, it’s sure to be an adventure!

Phakathi nokuhlala kwakho
Your comfort is important to us. Please let us know if there's something we can do that would make your stay better... or if you are interested in a farm tour.
We give our guests space and also live here, so you may see and hear us! Feel free to say hi and strike up a conversation... or not. When the weather is nice, we might be BBQing on the lower deck. You're welcome to join us or stay upstairs and we'll just wave once and carry on. Sometimes kiddo hosts a friend for a few afternoon hours. They may be found climbing trees, making bamboo swords or playing a board game indoors, weather dependent.
On May 16th, 2022 we lost our beloved 10yo border collie, Bo, to cancerous tumors and buried him in one of his favorite spots, near his predecessor. So, the canine welcome you've perhaps read about in reviews won't happen, but we'll do our best to make up for it.
Farming is a difficult and unstable way to earn a living. Yet we strongly believe in and are dedicated to regenerative agriculture and ethical meat. Your stay helps us keep farming.
