Locate near Balfour, we are the best of both worlds. Ukungena kwesivakashi
Our Guest house is “Self Check in” with the use of lock boxes at the entrance. Parking can be in the fully insulated, heated, and finished Two car garage/work shop. With advance notice, this space can be reserved for Motorcyclist, Dirt bikers, Sledder’s and other guest into the OHV sports. (can you imagine a nicer spot to service/repair your ride!) Lots of other street parking is available in front of the house.

At your disposal are, a fully equipped kitchen, Living room, a private en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower with rain head and body jets!!!! Plus, access to 1.5 bathrooms, shared laundry room, front/back yard, and Stunning deck!!

Please ASK what your needs are, and we will try and accommodate them.

Ezinye izinto okumele ziqashelwe
Access to the house is by a short 70 m driveway which isn't paved and fairly steep. We only recommend 4x4 vehicles use it during winters months as it will get very slippery with overnight snowfalls. We are located at the end of a "dead end" street, so the walking distance is very short and there is street parking if absolutely needed.

If you arrive after dark, a flashlight in hand (or your phone) will be handy as there are no street lights. The furnace and porch lights are WiFi controlled so let us know when you're coming and the heat and lights will be on for ya!

We are a pair of adventurous "World Travelers". We have both made our living by working on ships and the marine industry. We have traveled the world and now found our new lives together in the Kootenays. Robin, I was born in Victoria, BC. I am a Chief Engineer presently employed as an Chief Engineer for the Kootenay Lake Ferries (Balfour & Osprey 2000). I am an avid Motorcyclist I presently own a Ducati (Hypermotard 1100) street bike and Honda 450r Motocross bike that I can’t spend enough time on. I have excellent knowledge of all the local highways and by-ways and would love to share that knowledge to fellow street riders. I am presently still exploring the motocross trails and would be happy to provide some guiding or other support for your rides. Now that I found myself in the Kootenays, I am becoming an avid outdoorsman again. I am taking up Hunting, fishing, and trying to get back into x-country skiing and snow boarding. Before my present career, I was employed with Carnival UK (cruise ships) out of Southampton, UK for five years. I was traveling the Mediterranean, Baltic, and Caribbean seas with all of the beautiful Ports they offer as a First Engineer and Environmental Officer. While employed with the cruise ships, I made Thailand my home for five years where Charlotte and I explored S.E. Asia together. And Yes, I did meet Charlotte on the cruise ships. She was employed as a “Events Officer”. Charlotte, I was born in Wiltshire, England (near Bath which is famous for the Roman Baths and not far from Stonehenge.) I worked for P&O cruises for nine years in that time completed 2 world voyages, contracts were 4-5 months and we would meet the ship in port anywhere in the world and sail where the ship was based for that season. I met Robin onboard whilst working together & moved to Canada Five years ago and love my new home. Now my (our) life is all about our Infant daughter Isabella and our son Oliver. They are my full-time career for right now.
