**We are always rated 5* for cleanliness, but given the current global circumstances we have introduced further cleaning and hygiene practices in line with industry standards, scroll down or contact us for more information**

On the first floor of the house, you have one double room, one twin room, one family shower room with separate WC (all linens and towels provided), living room, snug, utility room with dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge freezer and an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen diner for your exclusive use.
You get access to the well-stocked ‘honest’ pantry so no buying a litre of olive oil and jars of salt and pepper for a couple of days’ stay! and a big basket of toiletries and essential items you might have forgotten in the bottom of the linen press in the bathroom.
We offer our accommodation with the price charged per person per night - so as not to discriminate against solo travellers. If there is more than one of you, please select the appropriate number of guests to make sure you see the correct price per night.

Cleaning and Hygiene
The safety and comfort of our guests is our priority. Our accommodation is always 'bleach clean', but given the current circumstances we have adopted some enhanced measures to give you even more peace of mind:
- we have implemented a 'buffer' of 24 hours between guests
- the accommodation will be fully cleaned and sanitised immediately before your arrival, masks and gloves will be worn by cleaning staff
- extra attention will be paid to anything you can touch including but not limited to door handles, light switches and sockets, knobs on appliances, remote controls, taps / shower handles and loo seat, etc.
- all bedlinen and towels are laundered at 60C with oxygen bleach and line dried in the sun, or on 'hot' in the dryer if the weather is inclement
- all crockery, cutlery, utensils you use MUST be placed straight into the dishwasher where they can be hygienically washed and dried on your departure
- only pre-booked guests are permitted in the accommodation
- plentiful supplies of hand soap and alcohol gel, and cleaning products are available for guests. Masks and gloves available on request
- check in and check out procedures will be socially distanced
- the main entrance and stairwell leading to your apartment will be cleaned and sanitised morning and evening
If you have any questions please contact us.

Pedreguer, Comunidad Valenciana, i-Spain

We've both travelled extensively in Spain, and been living here since June 2017 - we got really lucky when we stumbled upon Pedreguer. The community here is amazing; the Pedregueros will have a party at the drop of hat, or any other excuse - so there is usually something going on every weekend.
It's a really musical town and live music is usually on at one or more bars Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun nights, and also Sunday lunchtimes.
The fiestas here are legendary - the 'big' one - for San Bonaventura in July is 10 days (and nights) straight through, of partying. This is most definitely not the time for you to visit if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet - it’s relentless. We went to bed at 3am one morning last year to the sound of the party in the square, and woke up again at 8am to hear it still going...and there is literally nothing we can do about it if you’re a bit noise-sensitive! Bring earplugs, although if the HQ for the Quinta that turned into a 24/7 techno bar 3 doors down is there again this year, I don’t think they will be much help.
At non-fiesta times, there's still plenty of places to socialise - there are 23 bars in Pedreguer (we still haven't been to all of them) so whether you're after craft beer and artisan gin, or a proper 'local' bar full of old boys drinking brandy for breakfast, Pedreguer has it.
Pedreguer sits between Mont Pedreguer, and the sea - 7km away. It’s only 91m above sea level so it’s not really a mountain, although your legs will tell you it is on the way back up!
The whole region is very hilly, and there are plenty of gentle and not so gentle walks to take in the natural park of Segarria and Montgo and the surrounding areas. There are several circular walks that start from the Ermita Sant Blai at the top of Pedreguer town.
We're also only a few km from some of the most stunning beaches on the Costa Blanca - Las Marinas near Denia, and Oliva beaches and their famous chiringuitos open in the summer months, to name but two.
We have a fantastic local produce market on a Saturday morning in the main square, and an enormous Rastro (flea market), again with fresh produce stalls, on the industrial estate at the bottom end of town on a Sunday morning.
It's fantastic biking country round here (cycling and motorbikes) Jose the butcher opposite is a member of the local cycling team and has some great routes to share into the Jalon valley and beyond - we can store bicycles securely overnight in the hallway downstairs. Garage space to secure motorbikes overnight is readily available, and cheap, if you're considering riding down and are worried about leaving your bike in the car park overnight (Don't be - the Policia Local walk/drive their beat frequently throughout the day and night)

We live in the heart of a lively little market town called Pedreguer on the northern Costa Blanca, on the border between Alicante and Valencia. We spent 4 years painstakingly restoring an abandoned town house to its former glory, and finally moved here in June 2017. We dropped so lucky when we moved here. It’s a brilliant little town with an amazing sense of community, who will have a party at the drop of a hat. We’ve been ‘guesting’ with Airbnb for a while and had only great experiences with our hosts. We hope you’ll leave us feeling the same way about your stay here.

Phakathi nokuhlala kwakho
We live above the shop (so to speak) so we're pretty much always on hand to help with questions about where to go / what do do / what's on in the village / how the telly works - just shout up the stairs!
We're happy to spend as much or as little time with you as you want - we offer breakfast, and dinner (paid for locally) as and when you want it, which has led to some great nights in dining, drinking, playing cards and putting the world to rights with our guests.
