'The Owls Nest' guest suite is nestled below the main house in a secluded corner of the Lavender Owl Farm, a summer wedding and event venue. The property sits on an old 20-acre tree nursery which boasts hundreds of amazing mature specimen trees of Oaks, Maples, Aspen, Cedars and more and just as many species of birds. It is close to many central Willamette Valley destinations and I-5 access. Private parking with plenty of extra space for oversize vehicles, RV, trailers, etc.

Indawo
A private drive takes you to your own entrance with parking. The space is connected to the lower level of the main house but is very private and hidden from all other areas of the property.

In the summer months this space is also our wedding suite for couples getting ready for their big day! The entrance takes you through the getting ready area to a king bedroom with an exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress, breakfast room, and a private bathroom.

The pull-out chair bed, located in the breakfast area, is suitable for a child, teenager or small adult. Or just a great place to put up your feet!

Enjoy the covered patio on a nice day or a stroll around the property and enjoy the trails of our regulation disc golf course. It is open for private play and free for guests any day of the week. You might find others enjoying the course Wednesdays through Sundays.

While convenient for I-5 travelers looking for an overnight stay, it is also a wonderful place to stay longer and explore the surrounding historic towns, local parks and rivers or just bring back a picnic and sit in one of our many gardens or wooded areas.

Our older chocolate lab thinks everyone is here for him and may want to greet you as you wander around, and a cat who thinks he is a dog! We also have room for parking of trailers and larger vehicles. Let us know if you need more space before you arrive.

We do not provide a full breakfast; however, we do stock milk, cereal, oatmeal, tea, and coffee. A small fridge, toaster and microwave are also in the breakfast room.

We like to enjoy a smoke-free property. there is no smoking inside and close to any of the buildings. Smoking areas can be found in the Disc Golf parking area and main drive.

We are about 15 minutes south of the town of Canby and 8 miles from I-5 in Woodburn. It is a rural country/farm area so lots of space between the farms and homes. There are many destinations in all directions from us including the famous Woodburn Outlets, Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, The Dahlia Farm, Silver Falls, and Molalla River. Enjoy visits to farms and wineries and the historic towns of Silverton, Aurora (for great antiquing), Canby, and more.

Rob and I live here on an amazing 20 acre old growth tree nursery with Buddy, our 12 year-old Chocolate Lab, Paula, one of our five daughters, and four very free range and inquisitive chickens.

Rob loves to play Disc Golf whenever he can, so we have a 9 basket disc golf course you are welcome to play, and I love to potter in the garden, read a good book or just wander through the trees.

We have several wonderful gardens and wooded areas in the summer with lots of places to just sit and relax, plan a small wedding or private event, or you can take a short drive to some of the most amazing parks and destinations in the area.

We have five, all grown girls between us and there is often a list of friends an family planning trips and stays to our wonderful farm.
