Located in the Stuart Addition Historic District of Staunton, our roomy, walkout basement apartment with windows in every room is tucked away in the heart of downtown. It includes a deck to enjoy in the evening. A home dating back to the 1800s, with loads of character and occasionally a bit of noise from the upper levels. Across from Mary Baldwin, on the same street as the Black Friar Theater, 1 1/2 blocks from historic St. Francis Catholic Church.

A few steps down to the apartment and a key code entry makes checking in easy and flawless. A covered front porch allows for luggage drop off.

Before Airbnb was in existence we stayed in homes in other countries. One of our children has served in the Peace Corps and we have enjoyed hosting foreign exchange students in the past. Adventure is a part of our lifestyle. We enjoy time together, playing family board games, reading, watching movies together and family conversations. We are enjoying the Airbnb experience and hosting families.
